My family warned me that the sales people here were extremely rude and unprofessional, but we decided to give the service department a chance. We had an appointment for 10 am for and oil change, tire rotation, and recall fix. We were told our jeep would be ready in a few hours. Later, we were called and told the vehicle wouldn't be ready until the next day. This was an inconvenience, but we agreed to pick it up in the morning. After receiving a phone call that the vehicle was ready, we went to pick it up, paid and got the keys. When we started the car, notifications of the tire pressure needing service showed up. When we went inside to address the issue, the first employee we spoke with acted as though we were out of luck because it was Sunday. We had to insist on speaking with a manager. The manager said no service technicians were available because it was Sunday, and offered 2 solutions; leave the car for a third day until the service department was open again Monday OR someone from the dealership could follow us to a gas station and put air in my tires. He acted as though that was a huge favor on his part, but to us this didn't resolve the issue considering one of the services we had just paid for was on the tires. We expressed that this was unacceptable, to which he responded, "I've offered you air in your tires or leaving the vehicle another day and neither if those are good enough for you." We found this unprofessional and more so, not helpful. Finally, he asked a salesman to look at the vehicle. The salesman's analysis was that the light would stay on until driven in circles in the parking lot until at some point the indicator light went away. This ended up working, but considering part of the service included a mutlipoint inspection along with tire service, shouldn't resolving all of these issues be a prerequisite to returning the car to a customer? At the end of the day, they wasted our time, left us feeling frustrated, and didn't do anything to make the issue right in our opinion. We paid for device that wasn't truly complete at the time the cat was returned to us. No one in the staff seemed compassionate or willing to help. The tone throughout the situation seemed to be that they were doing us a huge favor and this was somehow our fault. We've had similar experiences at other jeep dealerships. As much as we love our jeep, dealing with jeep service or lack thereof, had turned us against wanting to purchase another jeep in the future. More

I went to pick-up car today to find that the water damage on the inside liner was still there as well as the metal shavings on the rear seat. Both of these where to be cleaned and had already been paid for by my insurance company. Also, the body shop damaged the plastic molding (6 inch crack) around the inside of my trunk as well as left a piece of the molding disconnected and laying in the trunk. How could a dealership allow this to be deemed an acceptable condition to be returned to a customer? Currently my car is still at the dealership but this is completely unacceptable. To damage a customer's vehicle and not even attempt to fix it before the customer comes to retrieve the car is a gross act of negligence. Then the Manager (Tim Peeler) can only attempt to "pass the buck" to the company they sub-let the work to. My car has been in the shop for 40 days!! Jacksonville Chrysler Jeep Dodge's body shop employees should be held accountable for failure to "check over" a vehicle before it is returned t o a customer. Thankfully, I had not left the dealership when I inspected my car. This is completely unacceptable and as a Jeep customer and I am very disturbed by the lack of accountability. More
EXCELLENT TRANSACTION Worked with Travis Villebrun and he did an outstanding job of finding me the exact vehicle I was looking for and for a very fair and agreeable price. Everything looks great until I got home and the motor for my windshield didn't work. I immediately brought it back in. This did not go well with my work for I missed a great Job oppertunity. They fixed it as well as some other minor electrical issues. Now I'm less then a month having the vehicle I am experiencing more problems. I was driving with my family and the vehicle starts misfiring and shacking on the highway. I bring it in and they tell me they need to repair the camshaft. I'm in the Military and have a unreliable vehicle. So, I ask to be put in another vehicle that's the same. They can't find that for me. They then tell me that my trade I had is gone so to get in a new vehicle I would increase my loan by $7,000 add another $74 a month on the payment and lose my maintenance package. I told them I don't want any vehicle less then what I purchased, and I want my payment that I have. Instead of making this happen I was told I waisted 5 hours of there time. I now am forced driving a repaired brand new truck that has had more problems in 34 days then a used junk car. There explanation is that they don't make it they sell it. Now, what happens when I deploy so they can live free and my wife gets in a bad accident on the highway or something? They have nothing to say. Everyone needs to run away. More
Misleading Sales Tactics Went in to look at a vehicle they had advertised on line at a fairly reasonable price. Get to dealer, take a test drive, so far so good. I decide Went in to look at a vehicle they had advertised on line at a fairly reasonable price. Get to dealer, take a test drive, so far so good. I decide I like the vehicle enough to see if we can work out a deal and this is when the gun begins: They open up with a price $18k over their online advertised price. When I point out this little detail it's off to the sales manager. After a period of waiting it's "oh that's a mistake by a third party but we will come down to MSRP even though we never sell these for less than $10k over." Additionally my car is only worth $500 over what I owe on it when in reality it should be worth approx. $4k over what I owe on it. I tell them very clearly where I expect to be out the door (it is admittedly ambitious but you never know unless you try). They "play" around with more numbers, come back and go "if you put $8k down you're where you want to be out the door." Uh no, I'm $8k over where I want o be out the door (apparently at this car dealership the laws of mathematics are adjustable). At this point it's clear the gap is just to wide to close so I politely thank them for their time and ask for my keys. It takes another 20 minutes and several more rounds of various failed sales attempts to get my keys back. The brutal truth of it though is this: by the end they actually had made me s reasonable offer...more than I wanted to pay but not more than I could afford. However, after 45 minutes wasted of my life with a fairly unimpressive sales manager, there was no way I was going to give them a dime of my hard earned money. Had they of approached the whole process in a more professional manner (or at least kept it professional as it started out well enough) I probably would have bought the car. I was particularly disappointed with the attitude of the sales manager, Burt, once it became clear his sales magic wasn't going to make me accept a deal I didn't want. There was absolutely no place for his snide comment as I walked out the door. I was nothing but polite and courteous, even sincerely apologizing for having wasted their time on a deal that just wasn't going to happen. Wish I could remember the salesman's name (Jason maybe). He wa generally pleasurable to deal with. It didn't take a real turn for the worse (even though the sale was no closer to happening) until Burt got involved. * "Friendliness rating below is for salesman. More
