I would normally have recommended this dealership to anyone. I’ve dealt with them for 8 yrs. Some times I didn’t get the service I wanted but overall I was satisfied. This week I went and looked at anyone. I’ve dealt with them for 8 yrs. Some times I didn’t get the service I wanted but overall I was satisfied. This week I went and looked at a ram truck, I called give the salesman the ID number. I arrived and met the salesman I spoke to. A 19 yr old college student, a family friend of the owner working thru the summer. He informed me then that my truck was at another dealership. Well, no disrespect but he honestly should have been detailing cars or other task not selling $80K trucks. After I left I got a call from Tony who suggested I come back and he would get me an awesome deal on a ram, (Rebel). I returned his call and accepted. Tony greeted me the next day and set me up with a (truck specialist) , Tony’s words not mine. So after our conversation the truck Specialist offered the truck for $60K, his offer not mine. I accepted. Now I’m a busy guy so I didn’t have time to close the deal but told him to have the truck at his dealership the next day I wanna see it and drive it. The Next Day! I arrive at the dealership and I’m told the truck is at the other dealership. Tony, greets me and said if we’re doing this he wants me to test drive the vehicle. Well Duh! I told Tony I expected the vehicle to be here. So my salesman tells me he has to get a vehicle to drive to the other dealership. I’m waiting! We walk out to the lot to leave and he starts trying to show me other vehicles. So I ask, do t we just need one to go to the other dealership. And Then, I’m told they backed out and can’t honor the offer. Tony greets me as I am leaving, and begins lecturing me on why the deal was unreasonable as my truck has 200K miles and explained how they have options to get my payments where I would want. If you’ve ever bought a car you know the sales pitch. Well, Tony my financial status is such I have no problem with an $1000 payment, but I don't throw money away. I bought my truck new in 2017. Your service department performed every maintenance I needed to get to 200K miles. I bought my. Second car in 2021, this would have been my third at this dealership. Maybe one sale doesn’t hurt so much but maybe my story will resonate with someone and they go to a different dealership too. Now I’m upset. This is the specialist Tony set me up with and waisted two days of my time. This is the awesome deal he stated I would get then reneged on. This is 8 yrs of customer relationship thrown away. I’m a firm believer is things happen for a reason though. Perhaps my deal isn’t on the 2025 Rebel, but rather on the 2026.
