RIP OFF I am an 8 year customer who has purchased/leased, serviced three of my cars at Irvine. Brought my 2008 x5 in and asked to have a full inspection. Was I am an 8 year customer who has purchased/leased, serviced three of my cars at Irvine. Brought my 2008 x5 in and asked to have a full inspection. Was told the only things needed was an oil change and a $1900 (discounted) oil pan replacement. Got a second opinion. Car needed 6 things done do it but NOT AN OIL PAN REPLACEMENT. Don't bother calling Steve the GM he will do nothing but "look into it". Will never go there again. TED More
Worst Services Experience yet. Waring to potential customer/consumers. -Bad Services Department- I have had the worst dealership experience at this location so far in my 8 years Waring to potential customer/consumers. -Bad Services Department- I have had the worst dealership experience at this location so far in my 8 years of driving career. I have been a toyota, infinite, now long ago, a BMW owner. On Dec. 27th, 2016, my car had a control message saying, "increased battery discharging" and prompted me to go to a nearest BMW dealership services department for a check up. So I called that day around 11:00 AM and a lady at the services department had answered my call. I told her regarding my problem and she agrees that the car needs an evaluation/diagnosis. So she booked me down at 12:00 PM the same day. Everything seems fine until I arrived. First of all, I pulled up in their "new" services department lane and a gentleman with a white shirt greeted me. I told him that I am here because I have booked an appointment at 12:00 PM to get my car checked for its battery. However, upon looking at his ipad, he told me I was not in their system. So he told me to "hang out" in my car which I did. After 20 minutes of waiting in my car, no one approached me still. So I took the initiative and talked to the same person. It turns out, he did not even doublecheck my appt. with the front desk. When he finally took me to the front desk of services department, there is a gentleman named Kevin, who asked the same question. Again I told him the reason why i am here and that I have booked an appt. prior to arrival. He then called someone else to confirm that I was not on their list and if I "like", i can drop it off until it can be seen later that afternoon. I am extremely frustrated because first, they did not appreciate my time waiting in my car to double check with their own staff. Second, never bothered to book me down when i called. Third, no apologies or whatsoever to make up the time I have spent driving down there and waiting 20 minutes and then driving all the way back home for nothing. Just voicing out my frustration here so that maybe one day someone will read about it and get some idea of what you are expecting to see. Personally I will never go to Irvine BMW ever again for service or sales. I would rather drive down to LA or SD to get my car checked/purchase new ones. Dishonest I called because my airbag and seatbelt lights came on. I saw that there was recall issued on the airbag so I decided to call Irvine BMW to confirm. I I called because my airbag and seatbelt lights came on. I saw that there was recall issued on the airbag so I decided to call Irvine BMW to confirm. I called and gave them the VIN. The scheduler checked and told me to come in for a diagnosis. I thought that was all under the recall. I made a appointment for 5 days later and looked forward to get rid of the red lights on my dashboard. Over the weekend, I received a text from Maz in Sales suggesting that I should take a look at new cars while I am there for service. I was never told that my phone will be added to their prospect list. I was annoyed and surprised. Strike 1! Next day, I drove over 40 minutes to the appointment through OC rush hour morning traffic, parked, went through the whole check in routine... Then the advisor told me there is not a recall of the airbag for my car, and I have to pay $175 for JUST For the diagnose. I anticipated that there would be more money after the diagnose. By then I completely lost my trust in this place and was completely turned off. I wasted 2 hours of my time and the car was no better off. Strike 2 they are OUT! I will never go there for either Sales or Service. More

Dishonest price quote and service I came to this place because my 2012 X5 was leaking oil on November 1, 2016. After 2 hours of placing my car there, the adviser call me. He informed m I came to this place because my 2012 X5 was leaking oil on November 1, 2016. After 2 hours of placing my car there, the adviser call me. He informed me that the leaking problem is very terrible. Irvine BMW would need 2 days to fix it; and the cost is $2,800. I thought that was too much so I refused the repair. Irvine BMW charged me $170 for looking at my car. I brought my car to a Santa Ana shop. My car is completely fixed in one day November 2, 2016; and the price? $700. More

BROOK PETERSON yesterday . BROOK PETERSON called me today and there is no problem on the vesicle. i asked, did technician, test drive the car to make sure its works properly? he said NO. they tested with the computer.... i asked, than how do you so sure, with out driving my car? i told him that, they have to turn steering wheel while you are driving, and than they will see the headlamp will not aiming to the same direction. but he said, we tested on the computer. there is no problem. i drove my Z4 with this problem about a week. because i have to reserve for loaner vehicle week ahead. i am the owner, and i know exactly what the problem is so i told them everything. they did not try enough to check or find the problem i guess. plus seems like, this guys BROOK PETERSON doesn't believe me. at end of conversation, he was yelling at me on the phone, and telling me to pick up my car right now, HE WAS YELLING AND HE HANG UP ON ME. come on please be professional... i feel bad because they treat their customer really bad. they ALSO give me a 3 series for loaner vehicle. my z4 msrp is 68k after he hang up on me i called him back of course didn't answer. i called service department back, and i spoke to the service manager. and he says he is going to check tonight with technician, make sure there is no problems on my headlamp and they will test drive . i picked up my car yesterday, they never test drove . never try to fix the problem. the amazing part is they put more damage on my car. i never seem anybody do their job like this.... so unprofessional avoid BROOK PETERSON. and avoid this dealer... TERRIBLE Hello To begin with a brief background about my self I am a double board certiified MD in Neuropsychiatry and Sleep Medicine and also A Forensic Hello To begin with a brief background about my self I am a double board certiified MD in Neuropsychiatry and Sleep Medicine and also A Forensic Expert for the State of CA We have been loyal BMW customers for over 10 years having bought more than 8 BMWs or so We went to Irvine BMW and were greeted by a salesperson who took us to this other saleperson at the desk named Montaya The sales person asked Montaya if he could help me, my wife and our 10 yr old, Montaya curtly replied "Why Cant you" After the other sales person explained why, he made us have a seat From the get go, Montaya at Irvine BMW was rude, condescending, tone of voice was irritable and made poor eye contact Initially we dismissed it off, when we asked about vehicles, I told him the two I liked and he quoted the price and mentioned "These are non negotiable prices" We had not even asked him if the prices could be bought down Long story short this behavior continued and he had someone named Peter show us one car, then we went back to him He went to appraise our Car BMW 535i White with beige interior, Nav, rear view cam etc and in pristine condition and started talking down about the car and then demanded me "Get your registration" " Give it to me" I didnt hear any please or anything customer friendly when We went back in, my wife and daughter decided to stay back outside due to his behavior He went to his manager came back with the appraisal and threw the paper at me at which point I became assertive and said there was no reason for BMW customer service to behave this way He ignored and kept looking at the computer screen I requested to see his Boss, he said he will call his Manager Fred who came to me and started saying oh you are from a different country and maybe he doesnt know how to talk its unlike Montaya, I understand because I am from South Africa I told him its not a cultural issue its a customer service issue, Fred went on to say My Teen Son behaves this way sometimes with me" I reminded Fred that Montaya was not his son nor was he a teenager at which point Fred said he was born and raised here and implied somehow this whole thing was our fault Please give me a formal grieviance against Montaya and Manager Fred for being dismissive and making it a race and cultural barrier Sincerely Dr RRC MD More
Misrepresented Needed Repairs - Never Trust Irvine BMW Irvine BMW misrepresents needed repairs and tried to cheat me. I needed New Battery, Oil Change and Cigarette Lighter had no power. Service Adviso Irvine BMW misrepresents needed repairs and tried to cheat me. I needed New Battery, Oil Change and Cigarette Lighter had no power. Service Advisor quoted $1400.00 for Fluid Checks; $800.00 for New Battery; and advised Thrust Bushings were leaking and needed replacement for $1800.00. I asked Advisor "What is leaking from Thrust Bushing?" Advisor said it's a "Technical Issue and needs replacement". I said "No Thanks" please do Oil Change and Service Cigarette Lighter. Wait 3 days and Advisor calls to say car is ready to be picked up. My Wife picks up car; No Oil Change, Cigarette Lighter not fixed, Battery was replaced -under warranty....? I look under car and inspected Thrust Bushings and they appear Shiny and Pristine -no leaks what so ever. I can't help but think Irvine BMW Service Advisors try to sell you anything to make a buck. In my case, Advisor quoted four-thousand dollars in repairs that were not needed. Quote for replacing "Leaking Thrust Bushing" was a lie. I'll never trust anything Irvine BMW tells me. I'll never go to Irvine BMW Again. More
