We understand your concern about having to wait for the vehicle to be inspected before learning more about the repair. When a headlamp is not functioning, there can be several possible causes, so we cannot determine the exact issue or the necessary repair until we have an opportunity to inspect the vehicle. In your case, our technicians found moisture inside the headlamp, which caused the headlamp to fail. We also understand that you mentioned having an extended warranty. Unfortunately, we are unable to contact the warranty company or determine coverage until the vehicle is here and an active repair order has been opened. We want to make sure we provide the warranty company with accurate diagnostic information rather than making assumptions about the cause or coverage. We are continuing to review the details of your visit with our team, including John, to better understand what occurred and where we could have communicated the process more clearly.
