Everything was good but it would Be nice if I didn’t have to wait 2 weeks for an appointment for a simple oil change. Didn’t disclose costs of services, had an appt but still waited in dealership for 8 hours just for them to tell me I had to come back in 2 days, and then charged me for the wrong tires and would’ve been $25 waited in dealership for 8 hours just for them to tell me I had to come back in 2 days, and then charged me for the wrong tires and would’ve been $250+ more had I not caught it. It’s hard to get an appointment- sometimes almost two week. This will be the third time I’m bringing the car in to fix the time and date in less than three weeks. I came in for my very first service appointment on my new Hyundai Tucson. I mentioned that I smelled mildew and was told by the service coordinator that I needed a new filter and brought the filter into the Hyundai Tucson. I mentioned that I smelled mildew and was told by the service coordinator that I needed a new filter and brought the filter into the waiting area to show me and then left it there. I was charged for the new filter. I feel that a vehicle that only had 6,000 miles on it should not have a filter that’s covered in mildew there obviously is a problem with the a/c system which they failed to address. Then when I mentioned that the rear wiper wasn’t spraying it was just coming out in a stream the service coordinator and tech looked at it with a flashlight and then the service coordinator told me that it was clogged and that they had no time to take care of that because they had to take the whole car apart. Needless to say I will never becoming back to this dealership. More
I went for an oil change appointment. While there I was informed that there was a recall to update the AVN. It would take 2 hours. I said that I haven't received any recalls. I was told it was normal for recalls not to be received. I explained that I've received all the previous ones. While waiting I researched for the recall, but could find one for my Palisade. The only AVN recall was for the 2024 Sante Fe. After about 2 hours I walked around the outside of the dealership. I saw my Palisade parked with the engine running. The infotainment screen showed a message indicating the update was complete. I went to the service department and explained that I found my car running outside. I asked if it was necessary to have it running for 2 hours during the update. He said, that only the power needs to be on. I informed him that it appears the update is done. He didn't do anything or inform anyone. I waited about 15 minutes and went outside and my Palisade was still running. I went back in and informed him that it's still there running. I waited, but he did nothing. I went back up to him and told him that he needs to have someone check my vehicle. The update appears to be done and it's been running for over 2 hours. He finally left and went into the shop. He came back and told me my car was almost done. 10 minutes later they pulled my Palisade up. I looked at the paperwork and researched it again and still can't find any recall associated with my vehicle. I have just updated the infotainment software in September. More
