While very pleased with the vehicle (some clearly flawed ergonomic design features notwithstanding), I'm engaging a warranty battle with the service department, and midlevel management. After several visits, I've: .heard grossly, wrong and even Misinformation. .Unfulfilled promises . Several times, " I'll call you", no calls as promised. . Service department: some service personnel seem somewhat lackadaisical and uninterested in my issue. .As a retired military combat officer, I cherish dependability, responsibility, and attention to detail. . A mid-level manager listened to my description, said he would research and call me THIS AFTERNOON. He didn't. . Therefore, I'm taking bold actions to get answers and someone with authority to take care of business. . next steps: . Contact this dealers owner. . Contact Regional Management . Contact Corporate President/CEO in Seoul. I'll be polite and respectful. I WILL DEMAND APPROPRIATE ACTION I WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE. I MOST ASSUREDLY WILL NOT GO AWAY. If NO APPROPRIATE ACTION, I'll launch a furious crusade on this dealership. . More
THERE IS NO CERO STARS. I bought a car there and the overall experience is terrible. The price we agreed on was changed when they filled the paper work . the financing rate was higher than I was told. The we owe you are not honored and my tag expired because they took longer than normal to do the paperwork with the county (they told me that). Now the manager tells me that the only options are either I go and do what they did not do properly or park my car until the tag is mailed by the county. in the mean time I have no car to move around. Do not go there. Look for a dealer that respect his customers.. Yes, you right, I did not look at the paper work before I signed it... I was counting on the honesty of the dealership.... My bad... They are very dis-honest and the only thing that matters is to sell you a car. Once they do that you are on your own... do not ask for more... More

He was friendly enough, but he did not follow through on any of my concerns. I asked if the vehicle had a spare tire, he went to check and said no. I noticed one side of the windshield washer jet was not working, he said it was working after he inspected it. I noticed a leak under the van and asked if their service department would check it, he said yes. Upon my taking it to another dealer, the windshield jet was broken, the transmission was leaking, and there was a spare tire mounted under the car. Clearly the car was not checked out and the salesman lied. My biggest issue is after we bought the car the brake light came on literally as we pulled off the lot. Turned around to go back and the salesman directed me down to service. Service could clearly care less about the light and didn't even want to help until a manager got Involved. He came out and gave me a cookie cutter answer about it being a sensor. Had I not been here over 3 hours with my 1 year old fussing I would have pressed the issue right then. I understand I bought the vehicle as is, but Hyundai "worked on and inspected" this vehicle prior to putting it up for sale. Clearly their service department just put bandaids on a couple of things. I did get a very good price, for that I thank you. That's why I was willing to take it somewhere else for the repairs. I wouldn't let their service department touch my car or anyone elses. I will add Leo in finance seems helpful and knowledgeable. Update: upon inspection by another dealer to get the brake issue fixed the engine cam shafts, mounts, and rockers are destroyed as well. Now I will be spending about $3000 on repairs! Heed my warning. Hyundai's service department is absolute TRASH. My mechanic said any tech would have absolutely seen these issues beforehand when the inspection was performed. They put this car out for sale in this condition. More
Don't tell your Customers that multi-point inspections are something that you're trying to get better with completing. It frustrates me that I got service done 2 weeks ago regarding a tire blowout and not are something that you're trying to get better with completing. It frustrates me that I got service done 2 weeks ago regarding a tire blowout and nothing was mentioned about the tire on the opposite side of the car. If my tire is so bad why wasn't this addressed when the multi-point inspection was completed. Not to mention, not ideal to tell a Customer that you should try going somewhere else to find a better deal if it suits you. I promise you Hyundai of Kennesaw, you will NEVER get my business again! Very disappointed. Called with an AC issue. Asked if under warranty. Was told they wouldn’t know until they looked at the car. When I showed up for the appointment before even getting out of car I was under warranty. Was told they wouldn’t know until they looked at the car. When I showed up for the appointment before even getting out of car I was told it would not be covered and I would have to pay $150 diagnostic fee. Not sure why the person on the phone didn’t tell us this. shouldn’t that person know what the check in person knows? Decided to leave and take it somewhere else. I have bought 2 cars from Kennesaw Hyundai. Wont buy our third there. More

The car displayed a check engine light, had slight hesitation/reduced power during acceleration, erratic shifting from the transmission during acceleration and clicking noise from the engine when engine speed is increased. Car also had 3 recall repairs that needed to be corrected. I would have thought a 2016 64,000 mile engine should not be ceasing and or showing signs of a slow knock. And if so, Hyundai should honor the 5yr/100,000 mile warranty irrespective of 1st or 2nd owner. Anyway, we were not sure of the issues so we took it to Hyundai experts. Without any testing, we were told we needed a new $15,000 engine based on just the noise! We asked if they ran any test on the engine. Response was "with such noise it is pretty cut and dry. You need a new engine”. We asked severally based on what test or diagnosis? Both the intake clerk Jordan and manager David Maddox could not substantiate. I asked for a written repair order, and the intake clerk hand wrote some funny notes and gave it to me. To which I laughed and he went to his manager who just typed some jargon. On insisting I was told the recall parts were on order and were not even repaired or fixed and the engine needed replacement. Pissed we towed the car to the dealership that sold it to us a month and a half ago. They say the car has no issues and they have been driving it for several hours. Back to Kennesaw dealership and the and spoke to Jim Lambert Service Director, he was equally as rude. He stated he was aware of the problem and the noise it was making; the car needed a new motor. Again, I asked based on what tests. What was the basis for that determination other than what some intake clerk heard? He would not give me an adequate response. The guys running this service department are a bunch of flakes and don't know what they are there to do with courtesy. My repair order should have been complete, showing exactly what tests were performed and exactly what they did in addition to what needs to be done. None of these were in my repair order. And Jim Lambert.... how he got his position! He is equally as useless and the guys I delt with down below. He wants me to tow the car back again so he could look at it. What?!!! Your team had it for three days and didn’t do a darn thing! I would not take my car here for service with that team on the floor. Go somewhere else. Avoid these guys like the plague. I am with the assistant general manager now, hopefully he will get to the bottom of this and clean up the service department before they sink the dealership. We will revise this review when the issue is solved to satisfaction. More

I took my car in for a This dealership is run by lying, cowardly con men Jason Teague and David Maddox. Avoid this place and their recklessness. I took my car in for a routine recall repair and it was returned with the repair done incorrectly. This subsequently resulted in out of pocket expenses by me to correct their blundering negligence. The auto shop that corrected the error traced my car’s problems directly to the shoddy workmanship at this dealership. Despite the intervention on my behalf by Hyundai’s corporate offices and false promises by both Teague and Maddox to reimburse me, nothing has ever come of that promise. I’ve waited almost two weeks to receive reimbursement from a dealership 30 minutes from my home. Maddox himself assured me a week ago that the check had been mailed out. Lies on top of more lies from a business clearly rife with them. The buffoonery of Teague and Maddox is a blight on the reputation of Hyundai. Instead of engaging dissatisfied customers directly they both do their best to hide and avoid taking calls. Cowards. More

Excellent Service in Very Stressful Times We want to thank you and your excellent service department for your help in this stressful time. My wife and I were driving home from Naples, Florida We want to thank you and your excellent service department for your help in this stressful time. My wife and I were driving home from Naples, Florida to Fontana, Wisconsin on Thursday, April 2, 2020 and had spent the night in Marietta, Georgia. We left our motel and stopped for gas about 10 miles north of Marietta when the low tire pressure light came on. We called your service department and they invited us to stop in immediately. They were wonderful. All three service representatives were enthusiastic and engaged. The representative we worked with was Phillip Joyce. He was great. Great engagement and big smile. They put our car on the lift, checked all four tires for nails and then inflated them to the proper pressure. Then to top it off, they washed our car and there was no charge for all the service. Wow! Can't tell you what a relief that was driving through the mountains north of Chattanooga. Just thought you would want to know. Regards, More
