Even my wife commented about Mr. Banks’ professionalism and the lack of the usual car buying “routine”. Not once did I hear the old, worn-out phrase, “What can I do to sell you this car today?” I walk out of dealerships that use that insulting method. This was my first new car purchase, and as a Canadian recently transferred to Georgia, I was a bit apprehensive about what to expect of the process. I found Lee to be very personable and friendly, well-mannered and with a "no-pressure" approach to the sale. We shared a few laughs, a few stories, and he did a great job in addressing any concerns I had about buying a car in Georgia. He took me around the service area and intoduced me to several of the employees whom I'll be dealing with going forward. Unfortunately Lee was not there when I picked up my new Elantra; however, Katrina did an excellent job filling in for him when she made sure the car was ready and provided me with an introduction to its various features. In summary, both Lee and Katrina helped me tremendously with my purchase. It was indeed a pleasure doing business with them, at times they actually made the process fun, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering the purchase of a vehicle here in the Kennesaw area. I don't like to car shop. I get all mixed up about MSRP, dealer price, option packages, when is the best time to buy, etc. This time I did my research before hand and test drove a lot of cars before decidi dealer price, option packages, when is the best time to buy, etc. This time I did my research before hand and test drove a lot of cars before deciding to buy. Even with all of that, when I arrived at the dealership they no longer had the car I wanted and I was very upset. I can honestly give them a 5 rating because they turned that completely around. They showed me a car with all that I wanted, but it wasn't the color I wanted--I say showed--because they didn't push it on me. Then they explained they would get me the right color and explained the process. I went out and looked at that car and I liked it. I don't typically like white cars but with the pin striping and the body style it looked really good. The price was good and in-line with my research, the trade-in was fair and also in-line with my research. Everyone was friendly and went out of their way to help me. It didn't turn out exactly as I planned it, nope, it turned out better than I planned it. More

During our first visit to this dealership, we were greeted by Shawn Nixon who we spoke to about the different models of Sonatas. He was very knowledgeable of the different features and what each model had to offer. We went on a test drive with him in 2 different cars. We wanted to compare engines with the 2.0T. He was very nice about letting us test drive 2 cars while we were there. We were not looking to buy at that time, but more like 6 months down the road. Shawn followed up via phone and email, and closer to the time we were looking to buy, we had many email exchangges. The specific Sonata we wanted was not at this dealership, but he continued to search and keep us updated. He also worked with us on the price, along with Anthony. Shawn was very timely in his email replies to us. Shawn called us the day he got the car in, and we headed to the dealership to finalize everything. He was very receptive to any questions we had. A few days after purchasing the car, I stopped back in to the dealership and spoke with Shawn about some questions I had as far as use of the vehicle and some things I needed. He took the time to explain everything and also to help me out. Overall, I would like to comment that Shawn was very pleasant to work with and he said if we ever need anything at all, to give him a call. I would highly recommend Shawn and this dealership to anyone that is considering purchasing a Hyundai. We are very appreciative of his time and effort in finding us our perfect car! More

I had a FANTASTIC experience with Cherokee Hyundai of Kennesaw and ended up buying my brand new Hyundai Sonata from them without hesitation. This was my first car purchase on my own, so my dad had equ Kennesaw and ended up buying my brand new Hyundai Sonata from them without hesitation. This was my first car purchase on my own, so my dad had equipped me with a veritable laundry list of requirements the potential dealership needed to meet before I set foot on a lot. After speaking to about five different dealerships, playing them off one another and arming myself with more car lingo than I ever thought I'd be able to throw around like an old pro (not an inexperienced new car buyer), I'd narrowed it down to Cherokee and one other dealer. After I told the GM of Cherokee the other dealer's offer, he said without hesitation "We can beat that," and I knew I'd found my dealership. I walked onto the lot Friday afternoon with my posse in tow for moral support (ie one of my coworkers, who's quite familiar with the automobile world), and we met Cherokee's manager Anthony who handed us off to his salesman Leslie to find my car. Leslie was just the greatest - if you go out to Cherokee - ask for him!! He was completely relaxed and no pressure about the whole deal- he explained the differences between the packages on the cars, took me on a test drive, showed me all the features the car came with and answered all of my questions. And when we got down to the paperwork, he was very efficient with that as well. Everything was clearly explained and laid out as I signed more documents than ever before, and their finance manager Scott answered all my additional finance questions concerning gap insurance and different financing rates. After I finished the paperwork, Leslie took me to meet the service manager Ray and told me all about the free first year service from Cherokee and the warranties provided by Hyundai. The exact car I wanted wasn't on the lot that afternoon, but by the next morning they'd located a car and brought it to the dealership and it was ready for pick up. Another friend was kind enough to drive me up to the dealership where I met Leslie again. He helped me sync my phone to the car's Bluetooth, explained the cool satellite radio, SOS system and OnStar options and showed me the guts of the car under the hood (which I won't have to do anything with, but still want to be able to identify - more of Dad's requirement than mine). And did I mention it had a red balloon attached to the door? Well, it did - that just made the sale. The whole process was about as quick and painless as could have been expected - Leslie gave me exceptional service and everyone I interacted with at the dealership was supremely friendly and professional. It was just a great first buying experience and if I could give this place six stars, I would. Please, please, please consider giving your business to Cherokee Hyundai of Kennesaw - you won't be disappointed. More
