4 days to diagnose a problem, fixed, and made worse My vehicle was making a knocking sound when braking and accelerating. I made a appointment to drop off my car to diagnose the issue on Saturday 9/21 a My vehicle was making a knocking sound when braking and accelerating. I made a appointment to drop off my car to diagnose the issue on Saturday 9/21 at 1:00pm. After dropping off the vehicle, I was notified that a number of recall repairs needed to be made on the vehicle. The service center made the recall repairs, but was not able to diagnose the original issue. Sunday 9/22 to Wednesday 9/25, the service center was not able to diagnose the car with no proactive status updates. When I would call to get a status of my vehicle, i was assured multiple times a service tech would contact me with a status. Tuesday 9/24 I called 3 times through out the day, and on the fourth call was notified by the call receptionist that the service center was closed for the day and I would have to call back the next morning. The vehicle was diagnosed with needing the front rotors turned and new brake pads. All repairs were done in a 2 hour timeframe and was able to pick up the vehicle Wednesday evening. The next morning on my commute into work, the brakes make a louder knocking sound and the “repair” made the issue worse. I now have to find another service center to fix the brakes and correct the poor quality of work conducted at Hyundai or Cumming’s service center. More

New Car Delivery I was most impressed by the services provided by my sales rep Eric Cheney after all the paperwork was completed. First off, he want to insure that all I was most impressed by the services provided by my sales rep Eric Cheney after all the paperwork was completed. First off, he want to insure that all my personal effects we removed from the Equus that I traded in. He then had all the garage and entry codes removed from the cars Home Link buttons. Finally, he made sure that all the personal data in the Address Book of the Navigation System was deleted. I was short on time but he wanted to make sure that I was familiar with the important functions of the cars many systems. That included programming the gate code and garage door code in the new Genesis. I was impressed with his attention to detail. He truly provided First Class Service. More

Ideal Buying Experience My wife and I were in CUV market and we have been examining the usual suspects. We went to many dealerships to get a feel for both fit and finish many vehicles in this class. Among those is the Santa Fe, but after having a bad experience at another dealership, we had all but eliminated it from our short list of candidates. We happened to notice Hyundai of Cumming was located not too far from where we live, so we decided to drop by one evening and give Hyundai another chance. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Gerald Goldsmith and Peggy Binkley who quickly introduced us to Chris Gardner. We were treated very courteously and the entire staff seemed very friendly. Once Peggy found out we were interested in a Santa Fe, she highly recommended it since she was an owner and she even offered hers to us for a test drive. Chris was able to find one on the lot that had most of the features we were interested in and he took us on a drive. He seemed very knowledgeable about the features of the vehicle. I appreciated the no nonsense, highly competitive offer we received from the dealership. Of course, we did our due diligence and found that offer to be acceptable. We were looking for a Limited 2.0T AWD and they did not have that vehicle in stock in our color. Chris and Gerald assured us that they would acquire one and they fulfilled their promise without delay. Our overall experience with Chris and the dealership was outstanding. At this point I would love to give my impression of the vehicle, but I am unable to because I can't get my wife out of it long enough to drive it. One more thing.... There was absolutely no up-sale pressure in the paperwork portion of the buying experience, which was a pleasant change from previous automotive purchases. More

Very surprised when I got the text it was ready especially having dealt with Chevrolet on more than one occasion and A LOT of headaches from Chevrolet. Well done Hyundai! More

Fantastic ALL THE TIME I was very happy to see Hyundai of Cumming open as I have purchased several vehicles from Auto Nation in Buford. I was hesitant to try a new service I was very happy to see Hyundai of Cumming open as I have purchased several vehicles from Auto Nation in Buford. I was hesitant to try a new service center but the 4.5 mile commute vs the 22 mile commute forced my hand. Andre is fantastic, and I always request him to take care of my needs. Very nice, very clean, and very modern facilities... and it's in my backyard! I highly recommend this location. With my recent purchase of my G70 I may not physically have to show up, but I know it will be in GREAT hands! More
