My daughter and I bought two cars on September 17 and had a pleasant experience with the above mentioned team. The price could have been better, but it all worked out. I am giving customer service bad becuase of the lady at the reception and her name is Martina. We had been searching for the right deal and right car/suv for the couple of weeks and visit many dealership. the reception and her name is Martina. When I visit this Hudson Toyota I wanted to test drive a number of models and different engines v4/v6 and MARTINA at the reception completely refused by saying that YOU CAN ONLY HAVE ONE TEST DRIVE IN ONE VISIT which made me go nuts. I asked her do I need to make 4 visit to test drive 4 different cars and becuase I am a serious buyer but she didn't care. We almost left, and just before leaving I asked the guy at the reception about their General Manager or even someone higher who I can complain to. And there was another sales guy SHAHZAD approached to us and he made us finalize the deal. He was with us throughout the process and we left around 12:00 midnight with the brand new Highlander 2012. So overall experience is good just becuase of an individual but it could be worst becuase of the other individual. I do not prefer to write my name but Shahzad know us as it been 2 weeks only. I would strongly recommend to go to Shahzad and he know a lot about cars. More

Just to be clear, the sales representative, Johann, was excellent. He was friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The factors contributing to my distrust of this dealership's methods of business were out of his hands. One had to do with the service department, and the other his superiors in the accounting department. Johann was very helpful and I'd certainly recommend his services. More

I started again surfing online to look for Toyota’s web site to have a better idea. I was able to locate it then started writing a request to Hudson Toyota 599 Route 440 Jersey City, NJ 07304. I checked my AOL emails during my lunch break & got email from Leon Knott. I called Leon @ (201) 324-2225 on 7/11/2012 saying he handles 3 different dealerships. Leon suggested to me, will have someone call me back & I said once again I am interested on new vehicle. On my way home driving on the highway after work on 7/11/2012, I received a phone call-cell from Qulzam Zaman, Sales and Leasing Consultant related to my internet query. Before 6PM same day Zaman called me again & I said, I’m stuck in traffic heading southbound. Got there in 20 minutes. Someone located Zaman for me in Hudson Toyota showroom. My excellent experience begins. I told Zaman that I am interested on getting a new 4 Runner only. I laid out to him my criterions then I was driving Toyota 4 Runner home for my husband. I highly recommend Qulzam Zaman because of my positive experiences. Zaman introduced me to Michael Dean, Business Manager & had positive experience too. 7/21/2012: Zaman introduced me to his General Sales Manager, Muhammad Manzoor. I was there in Toyota Service Dept to install or activate few things on 4 Runner. Next episode: On 7/24/12 I went to Nissan Jersey City to have my mini fuel door fix for 2001 Pathfinder. Nissan service advisor said to me it cannot be fixed so new part was ordered. As I was heading to 440 Hudson Mall south I decided to cut thru Hudson Toyota, all the sales people line up in front & I saw Zaman we both saying hello each other & told him the brief story. It ended up getting a brand new 2012 Highlander on 7/24/2012. Of course I traded in my 2001 Pathfinder (high mileage) & cancelled the part for the fuel door over at Nissan same day. Eventually, I have to go for this however I have no idea that it’s going to be done earlier on my vacation week. So, for a span of 2 weeks – our 2 high mileage vehicles (2000 Mitsubishi Galant & 2001 Pathfinder) were taken care of. Going back to 7/24/2012 I was driving home another brand new 2012 Highlander. August 4, 2012 I have to see Toyota Service Dept. for them to do few things on the 2nd purchase. This is a big responsibility or obligation that my husband & I are facing to go for brand new vehicles then we hold on to until vehicles die. It is like a cycle of life. It’s plain sacrifice! This is the life we’re into in America – work to attain something. Thank you. More
I went to the dealership on the advice of a friend to trade in my car. From stepping in that lot on 6/25/2012 to now i have had nothing but bad expercience and customer service from this dealership. SInce i reside in Brooklyn, I was given a temporary tag. On 6/26/2012, I woke up to use the car and the tire pressure light was on. I put ait in the tire and left it as is. Two days later the tire is flat and my friend tries to change the tire and place the spare. Low and behold the spare is the wrong tire that was given to me. I then went back to NJ and they confirmed the spare was not for my car and that they found a nail in my tire and patched it it in good faith. I left and the following monday i am harassed to come back to sign new paperwork. I left my job and came back to nj to do as such. three days later the tire pressure light comes on again. Now the temporary tags are about to be up and im calling every day to inquire and thy advise every day it is not in . Finally on the day before it is up im, told it wont be for a while and they will place me in a rental. again i drive to nj to get a rental two weeks later my tag is finally here and i go get my car. I go to get my ny inspecttion only to find out that i need new front brakes and rotors as they are gone. i call the dealer and they say it is not there fault my car wont pass ny inspection and i just must pay for it. please do not go to this dealership as they are crooks. I recently went to Hudson Toyota because my lease is due to expire on my 2009 Higlander. I was called and told by Hudson Toyota ( the dealer where I leased the car originally) that I needed to bring the car to expire on my 2009 Higlander. I was called and told by Hudson Toyota ( the dealer where I leased the car originally) that I needed to bring the car to them for an end of lease inspection. When I asked why they don't have a representative come to my home to inspect the car prior to the end of lease return like every other car manufacturer does, I was told by Hudson Toyota that this is the way that they work. When I arrived at the dealer I went to the front desk. The receptionist was flirting with another man so I was forced to stand there and wait for her to finish. After several minutes, she looked at me with an annoyed attitude and asked what I needed. When I said I was here for an end of lease inspection, she told me to go to the service desk in back. When I went to the service desk in back, they told me I needed to go to talk to the receptionist at the front. After this I told the service person I want to speak to someone and they had a salesman come see me. He then pointed me to another woman. This woman then went into the office and told Muhammed Manzoo that I was here to return my car because my lease was over. I then proceeded to correct them and tell tham that I was not here to return my car, but to have the end of lease inspection. Muhammad told me they don't do this and I shouldn't be here for that. I need to call Toyota financial. After being told many times on the phone by his office that I had this appointment to come in for the inspection that is 2 hours from my house, I said it is now his responsibility to clear this matter up. He then told me to f*** off and get the f*** out of the showroom. when I asked him his name he initially wouldn't tell me. He then said his name was Mo. I asked Mo what? He replied Mo Money while getting right in my face. He then again told me to get the f*** out of the the showroom if I don't like his answer. I then asked for his card which is how I got his name. I will never again buy a toyota and I will tell everyone I know about this experience to make sure they also at least never go to hudson toyota. More
