Took 3 times for them to fix simple radio issue (they never looked into actual issues - always assumed it was something else - yet never asked when could not find issue). the free yearly detail is a joke - literally did not even wipe down areas even thought took them 2 days. We are now using another Lincoln dealer for all maintenance. More

Mark was very accommodating and got me the carfax, extra pictures of any questionable flaws, and financing info through the dealership to compare against my credit union - my credit union was better. I decided to make the 3.5 hour drive to Fort Worth to see the vehicle and test drive. I was disappointed that the dealer wouldn’t budge from the price. They have a policy where they change prices every 30 days - no ifs, ands, or buts. It felt like an excuse. I also feel like I was lowballed in the price of my trade in. Luckily I had a Carmax appraisal in my pocket that they matched. After the paperwork, I drove it home at 3 pm on Saturday. A 12 hour turnaround which mostly happened over my iPhone - from contact, to carfax, through financing. I feel like I got a FAIR to GOOD deal. I was shopping for something specific - for a while - and they had it competitively priced. I would have liked to have felt like I got some extra value out of the experience whether it was a $200 price reduction or a coffee mug. I do appreciate that they didn’t waste my time with games. Buying 3.5 hrs from home, not wasting time was a silver lining. As I said, it was as good of a car buying experience as you can have. More

I had a trip already planned to visit family in Ju Here’s my experience with Hooks Lincoln. I’m from Wisconsin & was in the market for a Lincoln MKS. I had a trip already planned to visit family in Justin so I thought it would be a good idea to find a rust-free vehicle in the area & drive it back home. After some online searching I found one at Hooks. I gave them a call & spoke with Mark G in sales, prior to my arrival we communicated throughout the week via calls, email & text, he was very prompt in answering every question I had with the car. He sent me several pictures of the car including all minor exterior/interior cosmetic issues with the ‘used’ car, which was nice. When I arrived, a day earlier than scheduled, he knew exactly who I was & he only had my drivers license to go by that I sent him earlier that week, which was impressive. The car was waiting for me on the showroom floor, which was also a nice touch. We took it out for a test drive, he was knowledgeable with the cars features & took the time answer all the questions I had. After the test drive I wanted to see under the car, which he was happy to bring it in the shop & have a tech put it on the hoist so I could check out the car further. Satisfied with the car we went to his office to make the deal & after that was done he walked me out to the car where he took a little more time to show me a few more features with the car. Once that was done he shook my hand & I was on my way. The very next day I discovered an issue with the car where the volume touch panel on the dash would randomly light & start raising the volume, I’d turn it down then it would turn back up. I called Hooks to speak with Mark on this issue to see if he had any insight, but he was busy with a customer & the receptionist was going to have him get back to me. That was before noon & he didn’t call me back until after 4pm, but I missed the call. Called back right away but he was unavailable, so I sent him a text about the issue & all I got back was “That’s new one on me. I use the volume on the steering wheel. Maybe try a master reset or check the Lincoln/Ford forums”. That was all the assistance I received with the issue, no call or anything further to help with my ‘new to me’ car purchase. After digging online I discovered my model MKS (2013-2016) has a history where the in dash radio/hvac controller (front interface control module) will fail & the buttons will randomly work on their own. I also found Ford has discontinued this part so I can’t even get a new replacement. Mark may have not been aware of the issues with my vehicle, but I’m willing to bet the service department knew about this when they inspected the vehicle for sale & didn’t fix it. I doubt this just happened to fail the day after I bought the car. I knew the car was sold as is, but I was shocked that there was absolutely no service after the sale or concern from Hooks to follow up with anything. Here in Wisconsin pretty much every dealership offers at least a 30 day warranty where if anything goes wrong with the car they will make it right. My wife’s used Acadia I purchased at a local dealership & they took care of me no questions asked with a few issues I had after the sale. I’m 100% happy with that vehicle purchase experience. The only reason I didn’t purchase this vehicle there was because I wanted a car that hasn’t been exposed to salt & the harsh Wisconsin winters. I was pleased with the service I received before the sale, but completely disappointed with the lack service I received after the sale. More
