Very poorly run place, bought my car there 3 years ago, when i came there few day ago it looked like it gone from bad to worse. First when i came in there no one seemed to be interested in a potential cust when i came there few day ago it looked like it gone from bad to worse. First when i came in there no one seemed to be interested in a potential customer. Everyone spoke like they were doing me a favor. Upon agree price and finance terms i came home only to find out that people signed me to a financial agreement that did not exist, that was after 2 hours of negotiation!!!!!!!!!!!!! On top of everything staff were not polite. I choose a different dealership. DO NOT BUY CARS FROM THEM! More
2010 Accords have rear brake problems. The pads last 12,000-15,000 miles. I went there with my Accord. They said the I drive to hard. And it's normal that rear brakes go first( front pads stop the car 12,000-15,000 miles. I went there with my Accord. They said the I drive to hard. And it's normal that rear brakes go first( front pads stop the car and go first). They LIED and said my rotors were also bad. they would not pay for the brake pads. My accord had 12,000 miles on it. Sal said its the first he has seen. With brake problems. It's all over the net. I called Honda of America, they covered the pads, I got at local shop. Rotors were fine. SOUTH SHORE HONDA tried to Screw me out of $500. I got it fixed for 125, and Honda of America paid. Then America Honda called south shore Honda ,SAL said I never took my car there. I HAD THE RECEIPT Sal runs the service department. Way to go sal. How do you sleep. You should go work for the IRS. More
South Honda is the ABSOLUTE WORST HONDA DEALERSHIP on long island. I was a customer there for 10 years leasing 3 honda accords. When it was time to lease my next accord that i just leased from Clinton long island. I was a customer there for 10 years leasing 3 honda accords. When it was time to lease my next accord that i just leased from Clinton Honda (Located in NJ) i was treated like complete garbage by Sharon Hinds. First let me say that 3 years prior i leased a 2010 Honda Accord from Sharon Hinds and thought that since i had a previous relationship with her and i was a customer for 10 years that i would be treated with dignity and at the very most respect! how wrong could i have been!!!!! First south shore honda is preying on Hurricane Sandy Victims.. they have an extremely hard stance and are not willing to budge in the least; they give you a price and its either "take it or leave it".. is that how you treat your customers?!?! especially one that has been returning for 10 years?!?! Oh they will give you every excuse "there are no programs for the 2013 accord, its a new body style, the residual value of your car is lower that previous years, or my favorite is that they hit you with a interest rate between .99% to 3.9% but cant tell you where your fall into that percentile or better yet if that percent matches your credit standing" This place is especially taking advantage of hurricane sandy victims... lets face it many of us lost cars due to the storm.. they know this.. and are taking full advantage of this.. how sad! many of us lost enough! Sharon hinds is a fast talking con-artist sadly dealing with her 3 years ago when she first started at south shore honda in 2010 she was more eager to make a deal and to go the extra mile to ensure not only that her customers felt comfortable in the deal that they were getting, but that you wanted to go back to south shore honda and deal with her again. i can not tell you how disappointing my experience was its beyond words... I made an appointment with Sharon Hinds and informed her that not only did i lose my car in the hurricane but my wife and my brothers girlfriend did as well... if you do the math.. i need 3 cars.. the best part of the deal (and i am being sarcastic here) is when i informed her that i needed 3 cars she rose the price $6 a month.. telling me that "she isnt gonna make any money on the deal" oh really?!!? lol give me a break! after trying to negotiate a lease she gets up and tells me she "cant deal with this any longer" and brings Oscar (a general manager) or was extremely rude and standoffish.... this weasel proceeds to try to get over on my brother and I.. explaining to us that making a ten year customer means nothing to "this dealership"... i am telling you the rudest person... leaving that dealership i would be more than happy to hitchhike, walk , or crawl to work than to lease or buy a car from Sharon Hinds, Oscar, or South Shore Honda... i mean give me a break guys do you think your the only people selling 2013 honda accords or any type of honda car(s) for that matter?!?! TERRIBLE!!! I would just like to say that i did in fact lease a 2013 honda accord.. fully loaded and while of course i am paying a little more than my 2010 accord that was also fully loaded its expected.. new features raise the price of the car.. however i am paying $60 less per month than what South Shore Honda and Sharon Hinds quoted me at.. Like they say... when you lose 1 customer you literally loose 100... and believe me i wouldnt go back to South Shore Honda if my life depended on it. Michael Khatchoui More

I can NOT believe how fantastic my buying experience have been at this dealership, it was absolutely the best ever.. i have leased several cars throughout the years and everytime i shop a lot so I get to dea been at this dealership, it was absolutely the best ever.. i have leased several cars throughout the years and everytime i shop a lot so I get to deal with several dealership and I must say usually it's pretty much the same everywhere, they like to play games, they give you a price that very often for one reason or another changes, I mean you name it...not at Southshore honda, I walked in the first time, met Ziggy who , without pressure gave me the info i needed then I left , got a great first impression so a couple of weeks later, when I was ready to lease I came back, got the best price of all, no games, price remained the same, test drove the car, leased it... just a little bit of pressure from the Finance guy, which is expected, after all he's doing his job, but no biggies, in the past I almost got into fights with the finance people to make them understand i wasnt interested in any additional coverage or item... that's it, done, finito. Ziggy made sure I could get delivery of my car when I wanted it , which was the same day, he worked sooo hard for me I can't even explain such a great , honest person. Now my next lease will be up soon and if I will get a Honda ,this time I will not even shop around... I know where to go! Thank you Ziggy, thank you everyone at this dealership. And my compliments also to the gm of this place, obviously he is doing a good job. Arturo More

I was greeted by Paul Golds After visiting a nearby N*ssan dealership I came across this Honda one. I pulled into the parking lot & walked inside. I was greeted by Paul Goldstein. He was extremely friendly even after I told him I was just shopping around. He asked me what type of car I was looking for & specifically said the Honda Accord. He then asked if I intended to lease or finance, I told him I wanted to lease. We sat down at his desk & he pulled out a binder. He told us about the multiple deals they had going on. He started to name the prices & options for different models. Keep in mind that the N*ssan dealership had exactly what we wanted (Fully loaded A*tima) for $279 per month w/ $2200 due at signing. He brought us out side to get a feel for what each model looked like with w/e features it had. Now we were only looking for a Black car. After about an hour of discussing which model or whether or not to go back to the N*ssan dealership, we decided to go with an Accord EX. He gave us the monthly payment & told us all we would have to pay was the dmv fees. He told us that the model we wanted had tan interior (which we hate. We asked if he has a black/black. To no avail he said he had one in a nearby lot. We were extremely happy at this point so we went in to look at the figures & to meet Andres. After a rough estimate on the total due at signing & monthly payments we were sold. All we had to do was get accepted by the bank to get our car. Now we walked in there knowing that we had bad credit. So we told Andres our scores. He confirmed them online and said that he would try his best. After about an hour of contemplating with the other manager. He came back with a monthly payment that was only $79 more than the original price. Now we expected this, as every other dealership quoted around the same amount for bad credit. We proceeded with the lease. We called our insurance company and got quoted for the new car. With that he needed some information about a previous loan & if it was payed off or not. When that got taken care of we were ready to drive away. We didnt have any plates so in order to leave with the car we needed to get them. So we traveled all the way back to Queens to get our plates and drove back. They had the car prepped & cleaned. They screwed the plates on & we went inside to sign the rest of the papers. He carefully explained each document, and asked us to read it over before we signed it. Which me and my cosigner did. We asked for copies of all non carbon documents. We wrote a check for a few hundred and was able to leave. Overall this was an excellent experience compared to some that iv'e had in the past. Very friendly people and not pushy at all. I have yet to run into their service department which I havent heard good things about, but that will be a different review. I highly recommend coming here, and talking to Paul and Andres. They seemed to be the most friendly of the bunch. I am very happy with my new Accord and will most likely come back to re-lease. ***NOTICE: Just so everyone knows, this is an honest to god review, I was in no way paid or compensated for writing this review. bought a 2005 accord new and was pretty painless.with 15,000 miles on it i recieved a recall notice for the fuel pump solenoid.drop it off and service dept calls me and says they found a few problems.1 s 15,000 miles on it i recieved a recall notice for the fuel pump solenoid.drop it off and service dept calls me and says they found a few problems.1 st that i needed new brakes all around and my cabin air filter needed to be replaced.just so i could laugh i asked for a price and was told $ 850 !i asked him does it sound strange to you that i cant drive a new honda for 15,000 miles without dumping $ 850 in maintenance into it . ?told him dont do any work that will be charged for only recall.take the car to family mechanic and look at the brakes myself while on the lift and the pads had about 80% left on them.finally did front pads at 41,000 and rears around 50,000 .cant believe dealers still try to xxxx their customers like this .wont give them a dime of my buisiness and would rather pay a couple of thosand more for a new car to another dealer than to buy a car and support these thieves.dont go near their svc dept .i can imagine what they do to customers who dont know any better .outright dishonest crooks.it was so obvious it was almost laughable to see this guy try and keep a straight face .i couldnt hold back and burst out laughing when he told me .
