Well let start by saying that we had to return another day to re-sign contract as the bank didn’t approve the loan. But DTLA Honda did everything they could so we can keep the car. ABSOLUTE BUYERS REMORSE! I purchased what was sold as Certified Pre-owned Honda Civic on 5/31/24 from sales associate Jacqueline Martinez, whom I explicitly told that I did n I purchased what was sold as Certified Pre-owned Honda Civic on 5/31/24 from sales associate Jacqueline Martinez, whom I explicitly told that I did not want to purchase an extended warranty and that I was not paying an additional $1800 for a security system they installed and to remove or deactivate it. When I get upstairs to meet with Chris in finance and read my already pre-filled sales contract not only was the security system still listed on it but an ADDITIONAL $2850 was added for a warranty that I NEVER DISCUSSED OR AGREED TO! When asked about the shady charges Chris suggested that I keep the warranty for now and I cancel within 30 days just in case. Well the very next day June 1st my so called Certified Pre-owned Honda was making an abnormal noise from the suspension when turning and a charging outlet didn’t work. So, I took it back to the dealership and talked to a manager named Miguel who informed me that I couldn’t return the vehicle when I asked him for a refund because I know that this vehicle had definitely not been appropriately inspected and serviced to be considered Certified Pre-owned according to Honda’s rigorous inspection process. Needless to say I am very upset that I have been taken advantage of by this dealership and don’t have faith that this vehicle was properly inspected for safety. Plus, I now have to drive all the way back here on Monday during rush hour because the service department can’t evaluate the car until Monday. BUYER BEWARE OF HONDA OF DTLA AND READ YOUR SALES CONTRACT LINE BY LINE FOR ANY ADDITIONAL CHARGES NOT DISCUSSED AND AGREED TO PRIOR TO SIGNING. Worst car buying experience ever. More
