I had very good experience service department. My cables from engine from bitten off of a mouse . nothing was working. It was over $2000 of damages. My insurance didnt want to pay for it. Do not purchase a vehicle from DTLA Honda. The quality and pride in their work is not taken seriously obviously. Please note I have had nothing but issues with this vehicle thus far. Not only did they keep me there waiting hours while purchasing but the vehicle was purchased without any fluids being checked. Two days after purchasing the car I noticed the window wiper fluid containers were BONE DRY. The night the car was purchased I was told “all fluids had been checked” and I was good to go. Please note, The night I bought the vehicle it was only on half a tank of gas (clearly from the vehicle being test driven). I had been there from 4pm to 10pm so needless to say I was exhausted and ready to go. I sent the photo proof into my sales associate that the vehicle did not come with a full tank of gas as it was clearly stated. I then had to return to Honda to get the full tank of gas I was entitled to THE NEXT DAY. Please note when I expressed interest in the car it was stated to have 7 miles on it when it actually had 20 miles on it (an additional inconsistency). All in all my car is not two weeks old and this will be my second time bringing it back for issues that are totally and completely avoidable if possible I would have taken my purchase and business to a different dealer. DTLA has no respect for your time if you are a busy person whatsoever do not purchase anything from them not even a bottled water. More

Here is the short version: I went in to purchase a new car on one of the busiest days of the year, I waited 7 hours to purchase the new vehicle, (Now, 7 hours is a really long time, but because it was one of the busiest car buying days of the year, I can let that go.) While at the dealer there was no water/coffee or soda offered to us. Here is the worse part: the music playing in the background is horrible!! You feel like you’re at a cheesy club, after a few hours of the horrible ambiance I politely told one of the sales person that if there was anything can be done about the music? Sarcastically the person said no! That this was an issued raised often by potential customers and that the staff had communicated it to the management team and owner and that the owner had emphatically said the music stays. The sales person said “If they don't like the music-they can go somewhere else" I assume the sales person was hinting the owner (s) speaks/are foreigners. The sales person went as far as saying that some of the staff had said they want to quit because the music in the background is so annoying especially with the long hours they work. So with an attitude like that by the owner (s) I will follow the owner’s advice and go somewhere else. More

I leased a base model civic (Civic LX 2017) and this car is worth $20000 but this dealer (the finance person helped me with the car the whole time) put the cost of my car as almost $31000. So even if I wanted to buy out the car, I'd have to still put down 20thousand dollars to buy it off. They're con artists. Don't ever go to Downtown Honda PLEASE. They told me my payments would be expensive because my credit was bad.I have called and went in shortly after leasing the car but all these people just tell me that they don't know how to help or they don't know what's going on. They kept forwarding me to another number which put me on hold for hours and never picked up. So I am for sure that they know what's going on, but they are just avoiding me. I just found out the details today and I am an idiot for taking action now. However I hope no one else gets conned at this place. NEVER BUY OR LEASE A CAR AT HONDA OF DOWNTOWN. More
The parts department is incompeten and unprofessional . I fist called 2 days ago to confirm if they had a part in stock they confirmed it was available and ready for pick up. Once I was showed I spoke to a young man and he confirmed the part was not available I explained that I had called earlier and they told me it was in stock he then asked me who I spoke to and I did not have a name. After venting my frustration of me driving 1 hr to get to dealer he answer was "what are you getting at". At that time another young man by the name of Jair jumped in and tried to defuse the situation , he was apologetic and ordered the part for me; as I made my way to the cashier I noticed it was the incorrect part that he was ordering .. I came back to the counter and told him the wrong part was ordered. 2 days later I receive the part and it is the incorrect one, I call back Jair answered the phone, I asked to speak to a manager then he placed me on hold for 3 min came back and said the manager was in a meeting but he will send me the correct part. I asked for the managers info his name is Manny 213234-2151, I immediately call back and I guess Manny answered the phone , As I attempt to explain my situation hes answer was WHAT''S UP ? I paused and paraphrased he said "YA WHAT's UP what do you need". I told him that was not a professional way to speak to a customer he said I am the manager what do you need. I disconnected the line and decided to take time to write this. I will never buy anything from that dealer. More
