They knew that an open recall was the cause of our A/C compressor failure, it was even confirmed by a third party mechanic. Days later we get the runaround, and bill for diagnostic and are told we need more diagnostics for another 700+. After presenting what was told to us by the third party mechanic I was asked "are you a master mechanic?" In addition they stated Honda wouldnt cover the repair because it was only for the compressor shaft seal, not a siezed compressor. Not the one covered in oil from the compressor shaft seal that leaked. We took it back to the other mechanic for repair and will never return. More
I made an appointment for 9 AM and was there early. After 2 hours and 14 minutes they finally started working on getting me a new ignition key. 3 hours and 15 minutes and over $300 for a new ignition k After 2 hours and 14 minutes they finally started working on getting me a new ignition key. 3 hours and 15 minutes and over $300 for a new ignition key, I won't ever be back. Like another reviewer said, What's the sense in making an appointment if they just place your vehicle at the end of the line and you sit and wait? More
I'm very dissatisfied with my previous engagement with this Honda Dealer. I paid $155 for a diagnostic that I am confident was insufficient and needed to be completed more. The service manager was unwil this Honda Dealer. I paid $155 for a diagnostic that I am confident was insufficient and needed to be completed more. The service manager was unwilling to work with me to identify what was happening with the car. Instead, he hides behind a weak rationale for their insufficient diagnosis. Stay away from this location; drive north!! I am very sad by this experience as it seems they know I do not have the resources to explore this issue, so they continue to hide behind that that I can "Prove it" because they know I don't have the money to prove it. Trust me, Drive north. More
Poor customer service from Anthony; sales manager. They will call you repeatedly in one day for sale. Beware, once you purchase vehicle you’re on your own. They will call you repeatedly in one day for sale. Beware, once you purchase vehicle you’re on your own. More
What is the sense in making an appointment time for service and then when you arrive, you are told it will be a three hour wait? I purchased a new 2020 Passport and also an extended service agreement, 5 yr. 60k oil change. I got two (2) oil changes and the last time I took the vehicle in for servicing, Honda Clear Lake refused to service agreement, 5 yr. 60k oil change. I got two (2) oil changes and the last time I took the vehicle in for servicing, Honda Clear Lake refused to honor the extended oil change service agreement. They said, they had a new owner of the dealership and no longer had to honor the agreement. This was the only Honda dealership that had any Passports in stock, with the specification I required at the time of purchase. So, I was kind of stuck. The Passport is a great vehicle, just don't trust the dealership to honor any agreements. More
