Superb car buying experience Having seen the commercials for the Elantra and really liked the way the looked I decided to take a closer look at them and went to Homer Skelton Hyun Having seen the commercials for the Elantra and really liked the way the looked I decided to take a closer look at them and went to Homer Skelton Hyundai after checking out their inventory thru their website. The website claimed they had a new 2014 with only 4 miles and with all the features I was looking for such as GPS Navigation and Bluetooh etc at a really good price so naturally I figured it would be gone but to my surprise it was there. Once there I asked for the person who did the website research for the car I was interested in and he came down and deferred me to a sales person who could take me to the car and to assist in the test drive and ultimate sale. In short they treated me great and I never once felt pressured into buying as the car sold itself but it didn't hurt taht the sales professional was attentive, knowledegable and very friendly. It should be noted that the "after the sale experience" was just as satisfying right down to receiving a hand delivered box of chocolates just to say thank you! In summary I would recommend Homer Skelton Hyundai to anybody interested in a new car and if I ever need another new car this will be the only place I will look as they go the extra mile. More
After 2 months searching, Homer Skelton is the best I had been searching for a car for a while, and included several makes. As I had a Hyundai in the past (I lived in another state), I considered Hyund I had been searching for a car for a while, and included several makes. As I had a Hyundai in the past (I lived in another state), I considered Hyundai again among others. I had walked from a dealership a few days prior because of bad customer service and high price. I went to Homer Skelton and I was positively surprised. Ervin was an excellent sales person and I would definitely recommend him to friends. The service was professional, he stated the facts and they were fair negotiators. Again, another great experience with a Hyundai dealership. If you are looking for a fair price and an excellent car, look no further and go to Homer Skelton. More

Arrived and told Ervin what i was interested in and he showed me what i wanted to see. Went for test drive and loved it. Negotiated fair price and left with our new car. Just that simple. Great buying experience I just moved into a new job requiring a more fuel efficient car and narrowed down my choice to either a Ford Fusion or a Hyundai Sonata. I went throu I just moved into a new job requiring a more fuel efficient car and narrowed down my choice to either a Ford Fusion or a Hyundai Sonata. I went through my company's auto perks program and was invited to visit the dealership by Natasha Lyons and Kamilla Sargent. I decided to visit Homer Skelton first and I am so glad I did. Natasha introduced me to Ervin Ellis who listened to the needs I had - good gas mileage, BlueTooth, enough space for occasional family trip and my preferred color. We initally looked at an Elantra which offered even more features than I was expecting. We went through the financing part and based on their network of banks/lenders, I was able to get a better rate than expected courtesy of Steve Baker. With that in mind, Ervin and I went back out to the lot and found a car that was just delivered to the dealership, my black Sonata. I took it for a ride while he looked into the paperwork. I came back and let him know that I had found my car. From there, it was just a matter of minutes until we are able to get all the paperwork ready to be signed. I sat down with Robin Edwards who explained every piece of paperwork and got me ready to do with a note that was more than in my monthly price range. After that, Ervin had my car washed, fueled up and ready to roll. I had a great experience with the team there and would recommend both Homer Skelton Hyundai and a Hyundai Sonata! More

From the beginning of my purchasing process with the internet sales department, Lacey Gray made me feel comfortable and interested in making an appoin From the beginning of my purchasing process with the internet sales department, Lacey Gray made me feel comfortable and interested in making an appointment to come down and take a look at several vehicles that i was interested in. we made a rather long list and then i made the trip over to see Rick Putman. From there, the guy took every bit of time necessary to narrow down my search and drove me all over to help cross the vehicles that weren't in my budget or not what i needed off of my list. i ended up having to leave and come back the next morning but he was willing to stay as late as necessary to help me. Upon return the next morning we had narrowed my search down to a couple of vehicles. THEN, he put his "2 cents" in about everything he had heard me say over my 2 visits. Most sales people listen but never actually "hear" what you are saying. He repeated back to me the things i had stated like, i have 5 kids that i haul around plus ball equipment AND we travel ALOT. I had chosen a Vera Cruz and a Santa Fe and was really leaning towards a Vera Cruz. He then said based on what i had told him he felt like i needed more room and asked me if i would be interested in a mini van. Of course, I said I would NEVER drive a mini van again and was not interested. He was a persistant thing. He pointed all all of the reasons why the car i was looking at may be too small. He pointed out the gas mileage and all of the room that the van would have. He went and got the key. He drove me around and then I drove. All i had to do was drive and look back to the back of the van at all of the room my growing boys would have. That is all it took. This was the vehicle for me. Even though i said i would never drive a mini van again, it was about what was practical for me ..not what i really wanted. I appreciate Rick going the extra mile with me and taking the time to hear me..every single little detail. It really means alot. I had a very pleasant experience with your whole team and I will definitely come back again for my next vehicle purchase. Below is the email that i sent to Rick after my purchase. I would like to thank everyone from internet sales down to finance for making this a pleasant car buying experience. Thank you for all of your help with the purchase of the MINI VAN that I said I would NEVER drive again! I am so happy with it and the room that we have! You listened and actually "heard" everything I said about my life and the way we would be in and out of a car, the miles I drive per year and everything I haul around BESIDES my kids. Your input and pointing out the pros and cons of everything I looked at was so helpful to my decision. What I "wanted" was just not practical. Thank you for helping me put that into perspective! I know that I didn’t have a lot of money to spend and wasn't a 50k car buyer but you treated me like I was and spent all of the time necessary and I appreciate that. For that, I will come back again!
