This vehicle is a huge improvement over my 20011Elantra Touring with its rough shifting, slow acceleration and mediocre gas mileage. Other than the cons listed above and seat fabric that didn't hold up well it was a pretty good vehicle. Pros were that it was spacious, comfortable and pretty much maintenance free until 100K miles. The rough shifting transmission finally seemed to break in as I got high mileage on it. More

Service Dept. Service department is much less proficient when Doug is absent. I've had a continuing intermittent electronic problem with my wife's 2011 Genesis i.e. Service department is much less proficient when Doug is absent. I've had a continuing intermittent electronic problem with my wife's 2011 Genesis i.e. key fob, front right side parking assist alarm, seat adjustment, rear camera and dashboard display "insert key" while driving. I made an appointment and took the car in for service at 7:30a on 9/26. Mr. Wesson called later in the day and said a new key fob and rear camera had been ordered and the parts would be in on Thursday 9/28 but they had been unable to replicate the other identified problems I opted to leave the car at the dealership until the car was repaired and Doug said they would continue to try to identify the cause of the other problems. A little after 4:00 p Thursday 9/28, I telephoned the dealership to check on the status of the repairs. The gentleman who answered the phone stated that Mr. Wesson was not in and transferred the call to the service department. After holding for several minutes and two additional attempts to connect to the service department, I was connected to a voice mail (Billy?). I left a message and telephone number, requesting the status of the auto repair. I have yet to receive a reply to the voice mail. Mr. Wesson called Friday morning and provided the requested info. Unfortunately, the service department was unable to replicate my other electronic problems. Mr. Wesson has been empathetic on all my previous visits with the various electronic problems and extremely professional in his dealings with me. A definite PLUS for the dealership. More
