After a lengthy negotiation, we came to an agreement on Thursday night. The agreement was contingent upon taking an RX350 that was in stock and putting down a deposit/taking delivery within 24 hours. I called the salesman at 8:15 the next morning to arrange a time to finalize the deal and take delivery. At 2 PM that afternoon, I was signing over the title to my trade-in when the salesman (very apologetically) said his manager would not allow him to sell the vehicle at the agreed-to price and Hoffman would have to get additional money from me.
