Dear Hoffman Dealership Manager, Thank you for responding to my post. I would like to clarify that the alleged timing of the sensor battery failing immediately after I left the dealership is concerning. The sensor in question was replaced by Hoffman in 2023 after it was damaged by a third-party tire service company during a tire replacement. The other three original sensors have continued to function properly, including maintaining battery life, for the past 13 years without issue. Given these circumstances, it is difficult to accept the explanation that a three-year-old sensor battery suddenly failed while the original 13-year-old sensors continue to operate normally. I am also concerned that Hoffman’s response appeared to dismiss my concerns and shift accountability for the issue rather than fully addressing the possibility that the sensor may have been damaged or affected during the recent service visit. I would appreciate a more thorough review of the situation and a response that reflects the level of customer service and accountability I would expect from your dealership. Thank you for your time and attention. PS: I could not find any voicemails from Hoffman as stated in your message.

Thank you for your response and for providing additional context regarding the TPMS sensor history on your vehicle. We apologize if our previous response came across as dismissive of your concerns. That was certainly not our intention. We understand why the circumstances surrounding the sensor failure would raise questions, particularly given the history you outlined. At this point, our goal is not to assign blame but rather to acknowledge your concerns and ensure they are taken seriously. We take concerns regarding workmanship and customer trust very seriously, and we appreciate you bringing this matter to our attention. We also apologize for any confusion regarding our attempted contact. It appears that our message may not have been successfully received, and we regret any misunderstanding this may have caused. Upon inspection, our technicians did not find evidence that the TPMS sensor was physically damaged during the tire replacement process. Based on those findings, the concern appeared to be consistent with an internal sensor failure. We understand that you may have a different perspective, and we respect your concerns regarding the timing of the issue. We appreciate the additional information you have provided and will use your feedback as an opportunity to review our processes and continue improving the experience we provide our customers.
