It was nice to enter and look around a dealership without being pounced on immediately. Our sales consultant (Anjenette Colby) was very friendly and knowledgeable. We purchased a 2013 Lexus RX350 from Hoffman Lexus in East Hartford after meeting with Angie Colby. Angie had just the right amount of “salesmanship” and was extremely knowledgable about the car. This was key. Several of the dealerships we visited had salespeople who really didn’t know their product very well and didn’t know how to determine why their product would be right for us. They were more focused on telling us why we shouldn’t buy their competitor’s cars. Angie knew her stuff inside out and backwards and was able to sell the car, and the Hoffman Auto dealership, to us. Purchasing a new vehicle can be a daunting experience to say the least. Internet research, conversations with family and friends, buget review and the necessary test drives. I decided to test drive the Lexus RX 350 at Hoffman Lexus. Then came the stage most car buyers dread - dealing with the salesperson. Will they be "pushy", not listen for my needs or use the "my manger wants to speak with you" ploy? Angie Colby did none of that. She realized my interest was sincere and never pushed. With her high energy and big smile, she anticipated my questions, listened for my needs and knew her product thoroughly. We agreed on the terms, pricing and because I wanted a specific exterior and interior color combination, she explained that it would be at least 4 weeks until delivery. She touched base with me almost weekly to update me on the car's status. I waited 6 weeks for delivery and it was worth the wait! My new car is AWESOME!! Angie had suggested I do my "homework" and register on-line my Lexus Enform account. This expidited the pick-up process. She explained the many features, suggesting I practice in front of her. I have sahre my Hoffman Lexus car-buying experience with friends and co-workers. t was a very positive experience thanks to Angie! More
I can't say enough about the great experience I've had so far with Hoffman Lexus. My sales associate, Karan Singh is thoroughly knowledgeable about cars in general, and the Lexus brand in particular. With his very considerate and thoughtful approach, I never felt pressured or "sold", as he explained the merits of the CT200h. When I expressed interest in other car makes, he actually walked me over to another Hoffman brand and introduced me to an agent so I could consider what they had to offer. He was consistently in touch with me throughout the process so I always had any information I needed to arrive behind the wheel of my new Lexus. Going through the paperwork was a joy, thanks to Alejandro Rojas, who thoroughly explained each step and took time to consider the best warranty options for me based on my feedback. Everyone I've interacted with at this dealership is genuinely pleasant and clearly happy to be of service in whatever way they can. I had the tire pressure light on in my car, and couldn't get it off after checking the tire pressures and resetting. I called Hoffman Lexus Service, and they told me to stop by any time at my convenience f get it off after checking the tire pressures and resetting. I called Hoffman Lexus Service, and they told me to stop by any time at my convenience for them to look at it. I did. Jeff personally checked all of my tires - and the spare - it had a sensor, too. He put air in the spare tire, and that fixed the problem. No tire pressure light. Service charge? Free! Gotta love Hoffman Lexus Service. I have been a customer for over 3 years - wouldn't go anywhere else. More
