Everything we had discussed via phone and email was exactly as described. Easily the lowest priced dealership in the southeast. After asking a very high volume big city dealership if they could match or beat High Country's price on a new vehicle. The price was so low that they not only refused to match the price but went on to accuse High Country of luring customers into their dealership with low prices to switch the price at the last second. The competing dealership turned out to be full of it because the quote was NOT false and we paid exactly, to the penny, what we were quoted via phone and email by High Country Toyota. We drove 2 hours to this dealership for the savings and I would do it again and again. I will be recommending High Country toyota and Aaron Woods to anyone who wants a no hassle, low price, straight forward buying experience unmatched by any other. If you read some of the other reviews that are out there on other websites, people often mention that the facility itself is not very luxurious and in need of updating. What these reviewers fail to understand is that as a business owner, low overhead is your friend. Having a fancy pants showroom and ”free” $5 latte may seem great until you realize you just paid $1000 more than you should have for that car you thought you got a good deal on. At High Country, the fact that the facilities are not shiny and new means more savings are passed on to the customer. Despite what some people may perceive, this is a well run business with very smart people at the helm. Aaron was great as well and very generous with his time offering to stay past closing to explain all the details, options and features of the vehicle we purchased. Even Max Martin in the finance office was a straight shooter (unlike most dealers). Very helpful, not pushy, and very transparent with their process and payment options. If you’re buying a toyota from another dealership, you’re probably paying too much for it! More

The Best Trade Experience I've Ever Had Several months ago I started looking on the Internet for a used Honda Ridgeline to replace my older truck. My initial plan was that when I found the truck that was right for me, I would make the purchase, then sell my older truck (myself). I found a used Honda Ridgeline via the Internet on the lot of High Country Toyota in Scottsboro, AL. I spoke with General Manager, Tony Woods, over the phone briefly before driving an hour and a half to the dealership. At the dealership I met Sales Associate, Rasheed Bell. Rasheed showed me the truck and went with me on a test drive. Both Rasheed and Tony were friendly and laid back; unlike many in auto sales. I normally like to think about and process big purchase decisions for a day or two, but the guys put together an offer for me that was too good to pass up (including the trade of my older truck), so we agreed to a deal on the spot. And David made the paperwork process easy and fast. I would recommend this team to anyone. I was very pleased with the deal, but more impressed with the team's professionalism and integrity. It was the best automotive trade experience that I've ever had, and I've had many. More

We thought they were disgruntled customers and went through with our purchase anyways. All paperwork was signed electronically - which we now know was a huge mistake. There were numerous mistakes made throughout the documents that we did not discover until said vehicle was totaled and we begun going through the process of getting insurance to pay. We had reviewed the paperwork before signing but changes were made at some point - who knows when. For example the vehicle we traded in was a Malibu. One page said Malibu while the next page had a totally different year and make vehicle - not the one we traded in. Mistakes like that were everywhere. Not only did we find that the paperwork was in disarray, we also found that customer service at High Country means nothing. There are documents we needed in order to have the vehicle paid off by our loan companies. We chatted online with a representative and were told we would receive a call from someone who could help us. That call never came. After a week we called in and spoke with a grumpy man who said he could not help us, we had to visit in person and sign paperwork. We drove 45min to be there in person (as we were told) - my husband took off a day of work to be there - turns out somehow the paperwork had already been completed and turned in (it appears it was completed and turned in after the Internet chat). Obviously the man we spoke to on the phone did not take the time to check our account when we called in and obviously they did not need us to be there in person if they did it without us. I am extremely disappointed they did not care enough about us to call and let us know. There was no apology for taking up our time. My first impression of High Country was that customers were important. Obviously we have now witnessed customers are only important when High Country is trying to get them to purchase a vehicle. We gave High Country multiple opportunities to assist us. If they had been friendly and/or helpful we likely would have made another purchase there. These recent interactions have left a bad taste now and we will definitely not be returning. Although we love Toyota vehicles we refuse to support a company that cares so little about their customers. We will be purchasing a different make to replace our Toyota. Warning - High Country will not take of you when you need them. Be cautious! More

Mistakes happen, but everyone from the salesmen to the general manager has turned a deaf ear after my purchase. As a 12 Toyota purchaser this sends me to another dealer in the future. Be aware of High Country Toyota Scottsboro. I did Not get what was paid for. More

This morning I had a 9:00 appointment and arrived 5 minutes early for an oil change and now 2 and a half hours later still don't have my car back. They told me they are fixing a recall and only one person can do that and he is working on another vehicle. I sat in the waiting room with a room full of people and they were all complaining about the lousy service they were getting at this dealership. More
