Service waiting time too long I hit a rock yesterday morning on the way work and one tire has a hole on side. I complaint to the manager and the reply is the reason that I have to wait such long is because I do not have appointment. Away from Herson's Honda! More

After dealing with other dealerships that changed the price on me after driving an hour to purchase the car (I'm looking at you Woodbridge...), I was honestly about to look at a different car brand altogether. However, I reached out to Herson's and within 24 hours they had won over my business and had me in a new car. I would like to thank Kevin, Johnathon and the finance team who worked with me as this was the best car buying experience I've ever had. While I have a Kia dealer within 5 miles of my house, I'll gladly drive the 45 minutes to get here and give them my business going forward. More

BAIT AND SWITCH IS THEIR GAME--BEWARE Avoid this dealership. There are others. Bait and switch is their only game and it's illegality doesn't stop them from using it compulsively. The dealership gave me a written quote for a new Honda by email. I asked them to clarify that the price was the out the door price and that the price included all the features on the car. They confirmed this in two subsequent emails. That day I made an appointment and arrived as promised early the next morning with the email documentation in hand. The manager told me he'd taken it under advisement and Jonathan, the salesman I was assigned to, promised he had too. Then after nearly an hour of waiting, they gave me a written quote for about $900 more than they had quoted me by email, despite no added features or perks. After a vociferous discussion, they said they'd "honor" the price from the email. How honorable of them. In the mean time I wanted something that cost an additional $500, which they verbally agreed to. Then, after agreeing to this, AFTER settling on an agreed upon price, they changed their tune and said it could be $40 more. I asked them to put the new price with the added $500 in writing, WITHOUT the $40 tacked on--because we'd finished already negotiating and they should not change the price again! They nevertheless tacked on the $40 in their written quote. At this point I told Jonathan I would buy my new Honda elsewhere and congratulations, he and Herson's had just earned a review of 1 star. Who knows how much time and money they would have tried to bleed out of me if I'd stayed. The potential for added haranguing seemed endless. Their approach to the deal seemed slimy, exploitative, and greedy. It seems that Herson's knows only one thing: business by bait-and-switch. They are blind to business by respect, business by building trust, business by treating a customer like a human being. Herson's did not deserve to earn my business, and I bought my new Honda at a different dealership that earned my business by performing the sale in a professional and trustworthy way. More

Service Has Gone Downhill!!! Brought my 2009 Odyssey in for an A1 Service. I've been doing business with Herson's Honda since 1985 and purchased 3 cars from them! When I made the Brought my 2009 Odyssey in for an A1 Service. I've been doing business with Herson's Honda since 1985 and purchased 3 cars from them! When I made the appointment, my profile was NOT in the system. When I dropped off the van, they greeted me as a First Time Visitor! I said I purchased the van here! I waited 1 hr 40 minutes for an oil change. The Service Advisor came into the waiting room and said he just got back from lunch and my car should be ready in 5 minutes. 10 minutes later I walked up to ask what was taking so long. He said he would go check right now. When my car finally was done, I asked the Service Advisor specifically if the tires had been rotated. He said NO, they only adjusted the tire pressure! When I got into my car, the tire pressures were now reversed. The front psi was higher than the rear, meaning they rotated the tires and did NOT check the tire pressure. I wrote a scathing email to Gregg Patterson, the Service Director! Absolutely NO response! I've brought my 1991 Accord EX to Herson's for all of its service spending approximately $20k over the years so I know what good service used to look like! Herson's service has definitely gone by the wayside! I will not be bringing my 1991 Accord or 2009 Odyssey in for service here again because they just don't care about the customer once they've made the sale!!! I tried to get the GM's email address and "Paul" the online Service Rep couldn't/wouldn't give it to me! btw...Invoice said Mileage IN: 68,264; Mileage OUT: 68,294; The little things matter!!! More
