Excellent sales rep Robbie who assisted us in getting what car we want was very considerate and understanding. He even showed us the actual cars and models in the lot. He came to work on sunday even he’s not scheduled to work that day. There were no pressures and stress with this guy. Plain and simple. Showed us the car and drove test. Robbie is great Myself and my fiancé walked into Herson's Honda to get a price and check availability on a 2017 Honda accord. The salesman at the front dest was Robbie, he was very polite and asked us what color we were interested in and what model. I wanted an Accord EX-L. Herson's had one in stock which was great. We had a price from another dealer that we were happy with and were still shopping around when we walked into Herson's. Robbie then went to their stock lot and pulled the car around so we could take a look at it. We asked for the price of the car out the door. He came back with a number that was not quite as competitive as the previous price we had received from the other dealership. He then said let me go talk to the sales manager (Justin) and see what he could do, Robbie came back with a price we agreed upon, and stated I was eligible for a recent graduate discount of 500 dollars through Honda finance. We were told at the previous dealership the type of degree I had made the discount unavailable, but Robbie stated any college degree worked. We agreed on the price but unfortunately ran out of time for the day due to my work schedule. We came back the next day at 3pm as discussed with Robbie. We began the process of wrapping up the paperwork, he asked for a copy of my degree which we had a photo of he was able to print out. The finance gentleman we were placed with was Kurtis. He began taking us through the process of signing papers. He presented us with an option to buy an additional warranty package that we declined which seemed to frustrate him. He looked at the print out of my degree and stated we would not be eligible to receive the 500 dollar discount for the recent graduate. We stated that we had already been told the type of degree didn't matter, Kurtis then said well sorry the discount does not apply to you, and that we would not receive the discount. We had stated we wrote on the quote sheet the type of degree I had obtained and he was adamant that we would not be getting the discount. He told me that they were already losing money on the deal they were giving us. We were not pleased with the way Kurtis treated us and said if thats the case we would take our business elsewhere and proceeded to leave. We were walking out the door and the sales manager Justin came and stopped us asking what the problem was, we explained the situation to him and he said wait one moment and he would see what he could do. Justin explained that the discount was only available to associate, bachelors, and master degrees. We stated that we had written on the paper when our sales rep Robbie asked what type of degree I earned which was a PharmD. Justin explained he didn't know that a PharmD was a doctorate degree and apologized for the confusion and stated he didn't want to lose our business for the mixup saying he would honor the price we had agreed upon. We went back to the finance department to Kurtis and finished the paperwork. Kurtis, being very brief and cold throughout the process. Every aspect of our experience with Herson's was pleasant prior to our experience with Kurtis. Robbie and Justin are superstars and deserve our 5 star rating. I would recommend Herson's Honda to anyone but, would suggest when finalizing paperwork steer clear of Kurtis, his attitude is awful and nearly cost Herson's our business. More
