I traveled 800 miles to purchase from Herson's Honda I originally dealt with Coggin Honda (just outside my neighborhood here in Jacksonville, FL) to purchase a 2018 Civic Sport 6MT in Aegean Blue. It being 6MT in Aegean Blue made this car a "unicorn" in the southern states. In fact initially when I started shopping just a couple of weeks ago, the closest one i can find was 400 miles away in South Carolina, but that sold before it even hit the lot. So I put down a $500 down payment (refundable) at Coggin Honda to have them find the car for me and negotiated a price on paper. Well long store short, I ended up contacting Herson's Honda, 800 miles away from me who was the next closest dealership that had the car that I was looking for, and we negotiated a price over the phone, which ended up being over $1800 less than my negotiated price at Coggin Honda. It was a no brainer for me so I flew up to DCA and took a ride over to Herson's Honda 30 miles away from the airport and drove it back down to Jacksonville, FL. Justin, the sales manager at Herson's Honda, was great to deal with and made sure I was well taken care of. Stephen in sales and Ted in finance helped push me through the fine details on paper and were both great to deal with as well. From the great price I got the car for and the great customer service I experienced, it made my whole car buying process as close to perfect as you can ask for. More

They took the time to see how much I knew and what was I looking for, and took over, now and then, to better explain things that I might find important (i.e. how my desired car, and the deals I'm after work in the short-term and long-term). I didn't feel hassled or bullied towards purchasing my vehicle. There was always someone ready to help me out, but my dealer, and financer were already on point, if not above and beyond, with serving me! Rich politely and respectfully answered all my questions and demonstrated additional care to provide further information to fulfill my knowledge in the CR-V models. Rich worked with us from beginning to the end of the process. Endlessly worked with his peers to ensure that I would get the best deal feasible. He made sure that we were comfortable while at the center waiting on other pieces to be wrapped up. He offered bottle of water and phone charger. (why this is important? He CARED) I had very pleasant experience with Rich and the team at Herson’s Honda. CJ (manager) and Ethel (finances) were also very helpful, informative and respectful. I will definitely recommend Rich and his colleagues to my friends and colleagues in the future. Finally, after we got the car keys and we were ready to drive away. We decided to try out few things before driving our new beautiful car. I had already thanked Rich and others and left the dealership. I could not make the auto start work, I was pleasantly surprised seeing Rich coming out from dealership and offering for additional help.
