I have been to the service department 3 times since I leased my car and have been unsatisfied each time. The service managers are nice but seem understaffed. The cashiers seem disinterested in their jobs leased my car and have been unsatisfied each time. The service managers are nice but seem understaffed. The cashiers seem disinterested in their jobs and are barely polite. I also had to wait about 40 minutes from the time I arrived to drop off my car till the time I left and I had an appointment. Then when I wanted to pick up my car. I called twice and was transferred to VM and could not get a live person on the phone. I was so frustrated that I went there in person and sure enough, my car was ready and nobody had called me. The other service person was not my original had a hard time finding my ticket and moved very slow, with no sense of urgency. I will be trying a different VW service location for my next service which is unfortunate, because the Encinitas location is closest to my house. More

I bought a beautiful car. That has several scratches. And the front bumper had 6 holes drilled into it despite the fact I signed no front license plate. It's looks worse now. They returned the car with sanding material all over it. Filthy and with scratches. Well see if they do the right thing. So upset. And really upset because my concerns were blown off. It's not over. I am getting my brand new car fixed right. More

We didn't know either Outstanding experience with Herman Cook! Let me start by shouting out JoJo our sales associate and her finance manager Linda. We didn't know either of them when we bought a used RAV4. But after that amazing experience (they trusted us to hold the car while we drove five hours to go get it!) we knew we wanted to lease our Tiguan from them. In this day and age, customer service is, at best, an 8 out of 10. But JoJo and Linda gave us 10 out of 10 and we couldn't be more pleased! Who doesn't loathe buying a car? Well with JoJo and Linda it was stress-free and dare I say "easy"! If you want to be treated like you have brains, like you might be intelligent and even savvy and that your time is super valuable-- go to Herman Cook VW. And, oh, btw, they have great inventory-- who doesn't love a VW? :) Thank you thank you! Can't wait for three years to be up so we can lease another Tiguan from y'all! More
