This is my second Subaru Outback that I have purchased from Harvey Pollack at MileOne Heritage Subaru. I have always been treated with respect and my needs have always been put first. Joel was extremely helpful. He was very knowledgeable about the cars and worked with us to get the vehicle we wanted at a reasonable price. The dealership was very clean and had all the colors on the lot about the cars and worked with us to get the vehicle we wanted at a reasonable price. The dealership was very clean and had all the colors on the lot to look at. I have also appreciated all the follow up once we purchased the car. More
I purchased a new 2010 Subaru Impreza WRX STI in dark gray metallic from Heritage Subaru. My dealings were primarily with the Subaru internet sales manager, Harvey Pollack. He was polite and accommodatin gray metallic from Heritage Subaru. My dealings were primarily with the Subaru internet sales manager, Harvey Pollack. He was polite and accommodating. At no point did he try to "sell" me a car. In fact he was remarkably quiet, and gave me plenty of time to think things through. The manager I spoke to on the final day was not quite as civil. He started off with a tough demeanor, refusing to budge on price, but that was expected. He softened up once I agreed to the sale. They stayed late on a Saturday to finalize paperwork, clean, and fuel the car. I drove off at 7pm, a satisfied customer, a full hour after they were scheduled to close. I am delighted with the car. The sales experience, while not enjoyable (when are you ever happy to hand over so much money) was certainly pleasant. I would definitely do business with them again and would gladly recommend friends and family to purchase a new Subaru or VW from the folks at Heritage. More

I shopped for price, so the price was what I was expecting for the car I purchased. Mr. Pollack drove an Outback to Kings Dominion to trade for my Forester, and I appreciate that extra effort. How expecting for the car I purchased. Mr. Pollack drove an Outback to Kings Dominion to trade for my Forester, and I appreciate that extra effort. However, Mr. Pollack indicated to me that he expected that I would receive about $1,000 for my trade-in. This is a price that he was quoted. I told him everything that was wrong with the car and there should not have been any surprises. It has 220,000 miles. I let him know about a missing light fixture, a broken door latch, and the need for a serpentine belt. The Blue Book value is between $1,000 and $2,000 and the value of my car should have been in that range. I drove an hour to get to the dealership and completed some papers regarding the new purchase. However, after completing most of the paperwork on the new purchase, Mr. Pollack came back to me with an offer of only $500 for the trade-in. This was not "about" $1,000; it was only half of that and a lot less than it was worth. At that point in the process, however, I was not able to fully express my disappointment and my feeling that there was some dishonesty involved. While I could have just walked out, I wanted to just get the thing over with and I did not have a firm trade-in deal elsewhere. I should add that the trade-in offer may have been out of Mr. Pollack's control and he may have been misled, as well. Still, it left a bad taste in my mouth. More
I saw a 2009 Subaru Outback online (Tuesday Night), and wanted to take it for a test drive. Harvey contacted me (Wednesday at 9:40am), and told me he would only be in until 4pm and his schedule into the w wanted to take it for a test drive. Harvey contacted me (Wednesday at 9:40am), and told me he would only be in until 4pm and his schedule into the weekend. I arranged with Harvey to come in and see the car that same day, and he said he would wait for me. After driving from McLean, VA, in traffic, I arrived at the dealership at 3:20pm. Harvey had the Outback I was looking at online waiting for us to jump into and take for a drive. After driving, and talking, we started the paperwork. We waited for Randy (Finance Man), signed some more paper work, and was in the new car driving away at 5:35pm. I never meant to purchase a car the same day, and never expected to have been able to drive away in a 2009 Subaru Outback in just about 2 hours. I plan on owning this Subaru for over 100k, and will plan on purchase my next at the same place. Hopefully Harvey & Randy are still there to take care of me like they did last Wednesday. More
I want to personally thank Jay Danick and Bob Fisher for taking such good care of me during my new car purchase this past Friday July 31, 2009. I was caught in the cash-for-clunkers frenzy that had much of taking such good care of me during my new car purchase this past Friday July 31, 2009. I was caught in the cash-for-clunkers frenzy that had much of America racing the clock to take advantage of the government rebate. As a result I needed to make my deal quickly. I had been planning to visit an out of town dealership where I had purchased cars previously, but when the cash for clunkers incentive began to run out of money I realized there was no time for me to make this trip. I quickly made the decision to go to Heritage Subaru. They had the car I was interested in on the lot and after a quick phone call to confirm, I realized that they were willing to work with me on my clunker. From the moment I arrived in the showroom Jay Danick, general manager was attentive and courteous and really made me feel at ease. He assigned my sale to Bob Fisher who treated me with such care that I felt as comfortable as I would have if I were dealing with family. The dealership was crazy busy and although everyone was waiting a long time with the delays in the government website, it was no problem and everyone was at ease and patiently waiting. I know that this were unusual circumstances, but I would definitely recommend Heritage, Jay & Bob to anyone that was in the market for a new car. I still can't believe how patient they both were even at 11:30pm when I know they had been working all day long under crazy conditions. I felt very lucky to be working with them both. In addition--- I LOVE my new subaru. I still can't believe they had exactly the car I wished for and now it is mine. I hope you will let them know how very much I appreciate their help, patience and kindness!!! More
Ron was knowledgeable and polite without being pushy. Ron and his coworkers had a laid back manner which provided a comfortable environment for my wife and me to make, what is for us, a big decision. They al and his coworkers had a laid back manner which provided a comfortable environment for my wife and me to make, what is for us, a big decision. They also manage to keep my 6 month old daughter entertained, not a small feat, which took the stress out of being out late with an infant for the time it takes to make the decision and then do all the paperwork. I would definitely recommend both Ron and the dealership to friends! More
I had a great experience. My fiancee and i started up the road at the Mazda dealership and nobody came to help us nor did we see the car on the lot that we wanted to test drive. So we got in the car and the road at the Mazda dealership and nobody came to help us nor did we see the car on the lot that we wanted to test drive. So we got in the car and came down to the subaru dealership and were helped right away! The person we worked with was friendly and did not push us or make us feel pressured in any way. He was personable and made me feel comfortable buying a car from him! From start to finish we had a great experience and were able to drive off the lot that day with my new car!!!! Thanks! More
I shopped a lot of dealers in the area and, by far, my most pleasant experience was at Heritage. The selection on the lot was a big factor for me and they had exactly what I needed. Other dealers weren't most pleasant experience was at Heritage. The selection on the lot was a big factor for me and they had exactly what I needed. Other dealers weren't willing to work with me online in the same way and I really appreciated the convenience of an all online deal. Erik, the online sales associate was great and made me feel perfectly comfortable. More
