I stopped in Heritage one day just to look at Foresters but they didnt have any in a manual transmission. I also wasnt quite ready to buy. Silvio (aka Doc) was very accomidating in showing me the vehicle and they even let me test drive it on the lot because i cant drive on the road with the restricted liscense i unforetunetly have. Doc even drove it for me to my work lot. Since purchasing it Doc has followed up as he promised to make sure everything is ok with the vehicle. Used Consumer Reports Buying Service for buying a 2011 Subaru Outback. Received bids from 3 different Subaru dealers in the area. Neither of his contacts were "pushy," but it did indicate to me that he had a serious interest in trying to work with me. We set up an appointment and I appreciated his non-pushy manner in person. He was thorough in his presentation of the features of the Outback during the test drive and since Heritage didn't have an Outback with the options I wanted in stock, he placed a factory order for me. The final price they offered was actually less than the Consumer Reports price. Three weeks later, the Outback was delivered and ready for me. Greg even went one step further by picking me up and giving me a lift to Heritage (in lieu of my taking a cab since I wasn't going to do a trade-in). After the sale, I also appreciated the fact that Gregg followed up with me to ensure that the Bluetooth connection was working properly as well as the connection for the satellite radio (they were). I also want to express my satisfaction with the "non-pushy" manner and professionalism of Karen in Heritage's finance department. With both Greg and Karen, I felt I was treated with courtesy, respect, and with a professional manner. My experiences with them were totally without the kind of pressure and discomfort that is often associated with a car buying experience. They were a pleasure to do business with.
