I have had a HORRIBLE experience with Herb Gordon Nissan. I did not list any specific names of employees because I have dealt with so many. I just moved to the area and needed to find a Nissan dealer so that I did not list any specific names of employees because I have dealt with so many. I just moved to the area and needed to find a Nissan dealer so that I could get maintenance done on my 370z. The first time the 370z was in they wanted to do a 20k mile maintenance inspection. I figured ok might as well have them check it over and while it was in I had the oil changed and wheel locks put on. The price was a little high over $200 to look it over. The oil change and wheel locks added in made the bill over $300 which is a little steep if you ask me. My BMW doesn't charge that much to get these kinds of things done. Then in a week or so I was putting winter tires on my vehicle and found that the wheel locks were put on so loose I took them off with my fingers. Now I start to worry a little bit. When spring time came I took the winter tires off and put the summers back on. While torquing the wheel locks to 80ft/lbs (which is less than they should be torqued to) the top of one of the wheel locks broke. I didn't realize it for awhile but I had a wheel lock break off while driving down the street. I did some research and found out they put the wrong wheel locks on. I was driving my car with the wrong wheel locks that broke and could have cause a much bigger problem. The only thing I was told was sorry. Serious? Yes you would have been sorry if something really bad happened on a major highway. Now my wife scheduled to get the oil changed and they want to do another maintenance inspection... 8k-10k miles and you have to do another inspection? Really? I have never seen a newer vehicle need maintenance every 8k-10k miles except oil changes. After they took the vehicle they told her it would be awhile so they gave her a loaner. They ended up keeping the vehicle overnight...... What routine maintenance takes over 4 hours? Then to find out this morning they are charging us $675. They only discussed changing the cabin filter ($176) and an oil change. I went to this dealer because they had good ratings on this site but I am clueless on how they get away with this kind of stuff in their service department. How do you charge $675 when the only item discussed was a cabin filter? Did they do body work to my car? I would also really love to understand the definition of "maintenance" and everything that it includes before I say ok to over $600 of work on my vehicle. While in Florida I had the vehicle inspected and they didn't charge me $200+ to sit and stare at my car and make vague descriptions of what they did. I will be finding a new dealer. This is an update. Receipt reads as follows: Cabin filter: $36.00 (Labor $88.88) Mist cleaner (sanitizing spray): $34.95 Hazardous Waste: $3.00 Shop Supplies: $38.00 30K mile maintenance: $114 (parts) $348 (labor) -Valvoline Oil -75W-85 oil for tansmission -oil filter -cooling system (flush im guessing not sure its cut off) -Gas Additive -a few other misc things that I am not 100% sure what they are 35 point inspection: $0.00 Set tire pressure: $0.00 Totals: -Labor: $437.86 -Parts: $185.39 -Misc: $41.00 -Tax: $11.13 Total: $657.38 Total estimated time working on the vehicle: 4 hours Labor cost per hour: $109.47 I did speak with the manager and he gave me $100 back on my service for being completely blindsided. He also gave me a free oil change so I bumped my rating up a little bit. Still puts the labor cost at $84.47/hr More
The salesman was most excellent in every way, also the finance person. Yhe entire process seemed a bit longer than I expected but not at all uncomfortable. I recently bought a 2011 altima coupe from Herb Gordon Nissan. I am extremely pleased with my purchase and the help I recieved from my salesman Matt Linton. I submitted my request online and received a quick response from Alan Albert. Alan and team worked very hard to get me in the vehicle that I was looking for (2011 Altima). Alan took his time to walk through all of the features of the car and also took me to meet my Service Manager George Margelos who was very pleasant. Justin Kim provided me with several financing options and extended warranty options for my new vehicle. My overall experience with Herb Gordon Nissan was again pain free, quick and easy. More
I have never owned a Nissan before but a good friend of mine swears by them and has never owned anything else. So when it was time for me to buy a new car, I headed over to the Nissan dealer to check thing mine swears by them and has never owned anything else. So when it was time for me to buy a new car, I headed over to the Nissan dealer to check things out. I went thinking I would only be able to afford some kind of small four-door car. The sales guy I worked with, Joe, was wonderful! He introduced me to two small Nissan SUVs I had never even heard of before - Juke and Rogue. I didn't think I could afford to get something bigger than a small car but Joe helped work the numbers with me until the price was right. I had a really difficult time deciding between the two cars. I came back 3 days in a row, I just could not make up my mind! Joe was so patient with me and met with me every day and helped me weigh the pros and cons. Aside from how patient Joe was, another thing I appreciated was that he made me feel comfortable and wasn't pushy like you might expect car salesmen to be. Ultimately I ended up with the Rogue and I love it! This was definitely the best choice. Once the deal was set Joe had me meet with Mark to go over the terms of the loan. Our meeting was pretty brief, just had to sign the papers, since Joe had already explained everything pretty well I didn't go in with any questions. I am very pleased with my experience at this dealership and I will recommend Nissan and Joe in the future! More
I purchased a used Honda from this dealership and have had nothing but problems with it since. It had a bad clutch, bad clutch master cylinder, bad transmission, bent and wrong size rims, and an illegal had nothing but problems with it since. I should've noticed the exhaust before purchasing, but the rest has all had to be repaired at the expense of my time and my money. I only purchased the car about 2 months ago. Thankfully I did purchase a 3rd party warranty to cover most of the expense, but a car with this many problems??? I should be reimbursed! Rental car costs = $180 (so far but will go up when I replace transmission) catalytic convert to make the car legal+labor = $700 new clutch = $1350 new master cylinder = $100 new wheels and tires (replaced with OEM)= $2000 new transmission = unknown just found out today 2 months = $4330 in repairs so far.... I would never buy from them again and would strongly suggest others stay away from their used cars. More

I was very impressed with the way Mr. States treated us so when finally I decided to buy a car I would not anywhere else except to Nissan Gordon. Yesterday we got our Nissan Murano, had a great experience with no stress whatsoever and everybody at the dealership did their most to make sure everything went smootly. Mr.States is a very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and kind person. I would recommend Nissan Gordon not only to family and friends but anybody who is looking to buy a car. More
