Herb Gordon Nissan would like to thank RAYBOZZ for their feedback. In this case, the customer’s vehicle was towed in from another repair facility. They replaced Fuel Pump, Fuel Pump Relay, Alternator and Battery. When the car was transferred to Herb Gordon Nissan; the car would not start. With the customer’s approval, we performed routine diagnostic testing. A malfunction was found in the key and there was no power to the vehicle’s Fuel Pump. As a result, we replaced and reprogrammed the key to the vehicle. We also traced the wiring harness from the vehicle’s Electronic Control Unit to the Fuel Pump relay and from the relay to Fuel Pump. A loose connection at the Super Multiple Junction box was the source of the problem. As a solution, our Service Tech repaired the connection. Herb Gordon Nissan extended a discount our of good will to the customer on all repairs.
