I recently bought a used Corvette from Herb Gordon Nissan in Silver Spring MD. I'm actually from Missouri and buying a vehicle over 1000 miles away had me a little worried. But my worries simply went away after working with Ben Peter. He went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure I knew every minor detail about the car. Before I decided to fly out and look at it myself Ben took additional photos to ensure I wouldn't be surprised by any minor flaws or details. When I arrived in MD Ben made arrangements to personally pick me up and take me to the dealership. When we arrived the car was everything Ben described it would be. After signing a few papers I was ready to hit the road. After a long drive back to Missouri Ben folowed up with me on my trip and I told him of a MINOR little issue which he and Herb Gordan Nissan took care of immediately. I would highly recommend Herb Gordan Nissan and especially Ben Peter. Thanks for the help Ben aka Superman!! More

I had initially requested an internet quote from multiple dealers, and this dealership was the only one to simply provide me with a quote and any neccesary information I needed, and to let them know what else I needed or if I would like to come in. Every other dealer called me multiple times and provided useless information in emails. Muna was extremely professional from start to finish, was courteous through our buying experience, and helped us negotatiate a fair price for our vehicle. I would recommend Muna to others looking to purchase a car due to his up-front approach to car buying, which is always a concern for most buyers. More
This was my second visit to Herb Gordon Nissan in Silver Spring. I again had Jose as the Service Advisor and Kenny as the technician. I had registered about two weeks ahead of time for this visit and called a few days before (and Herb Gordon Nissan sent me a number of gentle reminders about the scheduled maintenance). I arrived on time for my appointment; the check-in was as smooth as ever, and the car was finished within an hour (and washed clean). I met with Jose who went over the entire servicing, explained a few minor things and also told me that there was a general recall on a part in my 2013 Altima (nothing urgent) and I will work out with him bringing the car back soon to have this taken care of. The coffee and free donuts, and the comfort of the waiting room allowed me to work on some business for an hour and the time went by quickly. I have nothing but high praise for this dealership. More

I took my vehicle in for service because my battery and brake warning lights were illuminated. The service representative, after receiving diagnostics from the technician, told me of the extent of repairs that was required and the cost, he then went on to say that the vehicle had some value and that I should consider using the value in order to secure a trade. I objected to that, he then directed me towards applying for finance to cover the cost of repairs. I applied, but then decided against using the awarded funds. At approximately 12 noon, I agreed to have some of the work done; estimated cost $2500. I was then issued with a courtesy vehicle from Enterprise. At approximately 5:30 pm the service rep. Called and informed me that the work was completed. I agreed to pick up the vehicle the following morning. The following day I paid for the service to my vehicle and it was then that it was detailed to me; Parts $1091, labor $1365. When the vehicle was delivered to me, it was filthy on the inside, the technician removed some debris from in the seat rack in order to find a fault and he deposited the debris on the carpet and left it there. My issues are as follows: 1. I was annoyed by the representative’s effort to get me to consider trading my vehicle. 2. The cost for labor, I find it to be extremely exorbitant; approx. 6 hrs work for $1300. 3. The filthy condition in which my vehicle was delivered. I expect service that is above and beyond that of basic mechanics, when I am paying dealership prices; I expect service to reflect that. I am dissatisfied with the exorbitant labor cost and the low quality of service I received recently. I contacted a few dealerships for information on a 2013 Nissan Rogue. I was given fair pricing from each dealership and the features and pricing was within several hundred dollars of each other. I felt that he was snide in all of his emails. He was also rude and overly aggressive. He told me I wouldn't get the price another dealer gave me and that it would be missing features. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. He kept telling me he wanted to "do me right" and "be fair to me". From our conversations - I did not trust him and was very suspicious. When I emailed him to tell him that I ended up purchasing a vehicle from another dealer his exact words were, "I guess I wasn't worth $108." He just couldn't let it go. I am extremely happy with my purchase of a 2013 Nissan Rogue from another dealership. More
I inquired about a Nissan Leaf online and Bruce got back to me promptly with a quote for the lease I was looking for. While it wasn't in our price range, I decided to go in and try the vehicle out. The test drive went great and while we ultimately decided to not go with the Leaf at the moment, Bruce remained a consummate professional providing a zero-pressure sales experience that both my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed. There was absolutely no convincing, swaying, or uncomfortable sales positioning by Bruce. We simply told him our thoughts on our test drive, chatted a bit, and then left. It was by far our best "non-buying" experience thus far. If it wasn't for our car preference, we would have definitely loved to buy a car from Bruce. If you're in the market for a Nissan, I'd highly recommend reaching out to him. More

On March 12 I took my 2011 Rogue in for 3,000 mile service and asked that the wheel alignment be checked. The next day I received a call from Bob Larson who is the follow up person that goes over all the shop tickets, calls each customer individually and asks how happy you are with the way Herb Gordon Nissan treated you and are you satisfied with the work that was performed. When Bob called me and asked those same 2 exact questions my response back to him was "it's funny you asked" because I was in the process of bringing my Rogue back to Herb Gordon to ascertain why the wheel alignment wasn't done or completed correctly. In our conversation he let me explain in detail the problems I still faced and said to me "I know it will be an imposition but would you be so kind as to bring your vehicle back to Herb Gordon at your convenience so we can revisit, fix and complete the necessary repair(s)which I told him I'll be more than happy to do. At this point in the game anyone who ever experienced any problems regarding service, Bob Larson is the man who will put you ease, create the solution and make it happen. This man knows customer service forwards and backwards! So, I bring the Rogue back in and the outside write-up person on my arrival asked what the problem was and I told him Bob Larson asked that I bring it back to get the wheel alignment re-checked and completed right. At that point Lynn Fritz comes out and asked me what was wrong and I knew she was definitely concerned because I had just been there previously and I explained that the wheel alignment was not exactly right. She stayed right on top of it the entire time and during my wait I introduced myself to Bob Larson and we had a very enjoyable conversation and he apologized for my inconvenience of having to bring the Rogue back in to get the service done a second time and made it a point of letting me know his door is always wide open and the next time I stop in please stop by and say hi. This exemplary kind of customer service and upbeat attitude by everyone is what makes Herb Gordon Nissan #1 and that's what keeps me returning. There is no way anyone could compare any other dealership against Herb Gordon Nissan. Let me just say it like this, Herb Gordon Nissan has spoiled me over the past 31 years! More

I was at their dealership on time, served within 2 minutes, and the wait until the service was done was very good - hot coffee, donuts, TV (which could have been a little lower as I was reading, but that is nothing). The car was completely serviced and washed in under an hour, and Jose Cruz was very good at explaining everything. From the time I checked in until the time I left I felt lilke a very valued customer, and I wil continue to use this dealership for all future servicing of my Nissan. More
