This is the first new car purchase that I can say was a pleasure to complete. I thoroughly reviewed the model that we wanted and its features via the internet and a buying service I have available to me b pleasure to complete. I thoroughly reviewed the model that we wanted and its features via the internet and a buying service I have available to me before we went to the dealership. However, my wife and I wanted to physically look at the model and have its features demonstrated and explained to us by a knowledgeable person. We walked into Herb Chambers Lexus dealership in Sharon and were met at the door by Steve, the salesman. We told him what we were interested in. He asked us a few questions and showed us the models which appeared to satisfy our needs. He asked if we would like to drive one and took us out in the model we liked and let both of us drive it. He was friendly and informative throughout the meeting. As we walked around the showroom looking at the various models he also explained the operation of the dealership and showed us the different areas of the facility, including the service area and the lounge for customers. After he had answered all of our questions he gave us a price for the model with two different options. We had told him at the beginning that we were not necessarily prepared to buy a car that day. He was never hurried and applied absolutely no pressure. He gave us the impression that he had all of the time in the world to spend with us. We left the dealership satisfied that we knew the model we would buy and the options we would have on it. Later, a call and an email came from a girl from the dealership thanking us for coming in and we received a letter from Steve doing the same. I then got online with my buying service and determined a price for which I could get it through them and also an estimated trade-in amount for our old car. I then figured out what I believed would be a fair price for the new car less the trade-in. We then made an appointment to come in a few days later. There was never any pressure to purchase the car. I explained my offer to Steve and he said he would present it to his management. He then came back and said we had bought a car. All through the discussions Steve was very helpful and informative. He never once applied any pressure to buy. That is probably the biggest reason I wanted to deal with him and not through the buying service. Both my wife and I were completely satisfied with the purchase process, an event that I had not been looking forward to entering into. Highest marks should go to Steve and the Herb Chambers Lexus dealership. More

He was able to pick up on what our car needs were and helped us get exactly what we wanted in a car. He was extremely thorough and answered every question we could throw at him (and boy did we had a lot of questions!) Not only did he do all that, but he actually made the entire experience fun, which is a rarity when visiting a dealership, I know after much experience of searching for the perfect car (which I finally found). I was also very impressed with the business manager and also the assistant manager who helped us get to the price we were looking for. They were both helpful, knowledgable and professional.
