This was my first Lexus. I did a lot of research up front and I had a firm price range in terms of the new car and what I wanted for my trade-in. I then had the distinct pleasure in meeting Leo Tahajian at Herb Chambers Lexus. Leo's approach was completely different as he asked me about my needs at a personal level. What were my driving habits? What are the things that are important to me? Did I drive a lot of miles? Would I have children in the car? Leo was truly focused on helping me choose the right car at the terms that worked best for me. He patiently reviewed both his new and used inventory and reviewed all incentives. Leo went out of his want to develop a relationship with me, regardless if I actually purchased a car from him at that time. He was a breath of fresh air and completely the opposite from the typical car salesman stereotype. After finding a car and test driving it, I asked for a quote and he came back with a very good initial offer, which was already close to the range I had in mind. I thanked him and left. A couple of days later Leo called me personally to see if I had any questions or if I wanted to see the car again. I decided to make a counter offer and less than 5 minutes later he called me back and we closed the deal over the phone! Dealing with Leo was an absolute pleasure. There was never any pressure to sell me a car, rather Leo was entirely focused on building a relationship and making sure I understood all my options. I will never go to anyone else but Leo Tahajian and Herb Chambers for all my future Lexus business. More

After doing extensive research on the RX 450h, I was prepared to buy if the terms were favorable and so set out to test the vehicle at a local dealership here in NH. I found the 450h to be quite impressive and indicated my desire to take delivery that day but I was unable to reach an agreement with the local dealer. I then contacted Nicole at Herb Chambers Lexus and explained that I was in the market for this vehicle and hoped to close a deal that day. She was polite and professional and said that a sales manager would be in contact with me. Errol Gaudette called shortly thereafter and was quite personable and straightforward. After explaining that I wanted to trade my 2010 MB E550 and indicating my comfort range for the financial terms, Errol immediately quoted me an attractive price. This took less than 10 minutes! I accepted his offer and, after congratulating me on my new Lexus purchase, Errol indicated that Tim Mullin would be working with me to complete all the paperwork by email and fax. Tim stayed in constant contact with me by phone and email over the next 3 days in order to insure that all of the documents were in order. Tim deserves special praise for his work ethic. Kevin Barry, the business manager, expedited the process using FedEx to help me complete the process at home. He called to finalize the last minute details and was courteous and low-key. Tim then delivered the vehicle to my home at the time promised and was as impressive in person as he was on the phone. I have purchased over 35 new cars in the past 26 years* and have experienced first-hand just about every high (and low) associated with a new vehicle acquisition. My experience with this purchase of the RX450h at Herb Chambers Lexus goes so far beyond any other transaction I’ve had that, frankly, I am still in a state of shock and awe. Salesperson knew I was interested in buying IS-250 model and since there was not any other car to match our needs, he took time to show and test drive ES-350 also explaining that I might like it more. Next day the IS-250 I liked was available and Jamin called me at once. I came back and he took some extra time to show all the car features and to do test drive. He was very knowledgeable about the car. He also returned all my calls promptly after I bought the car and answered all the questions I had. It is been a month since I bought the car. Today I called Jamin because I have issue with one of headlights. (Sometimes it is not lighted when I am getting out of the car at night,) He was very polite and told me to watch how it acts for a little longer and if I still have this problem to call service and they will definitely take care of it. I did not have any previous experience with Herb Chambers service, but hope it will go well whenever I need it. More
