I brought my '06 RX 400 in for a standard service and it was discoverd that I needed a very expensive repair done on my rear "knuckles". With only 36k mileage, the warranty would have covered this but for was discoverd that I needed a very expensive repair done on my rear "knuckles". With only 36k mileage, the warranty would have covered this but for the age it was technically out of warranty. The dealership management (Kristen Keough) found a way to make an exception for me. This we extremely appreciated and well outside of what most dealers would provide. In addition, I had the use of a new RX 300 for over a week as this process was being approved and the work done. I can't recommend this dealer more strongly. More

The experience of purchasing a new car is always a daunting one. Due to the manner of my sales consultant, Robert Williams, it was made into a very positive experience. Having owned a 2002 RX300, I knew that I wanted another Lexus, but the learning curve of the new RX350 was quite fearful. Robert was exceedingly positive, patient, helpful and encouraging, taking an inordinate amount of time to cover every detail, complete with downloading my phone book and setting radio and satellite stations!!!!! And the helpfulness did not stop when I left the dealership as he has answered many questions by phone or email since, and I will expect that that will continue! I would also like to add that he introduced me to Patrick in the immaculate service department and encouraged my son and I to have a bite of lunch at the snack bar!!!!!!!! Ed Allen was my main contact at Herb Chambers. He was patient, knowledgable, and pleasant. His sales approach was a very effective in that he was not pushy yet he was forceful in his presentation of the patient, knowledgable, and pleasant. His sales approach was a very effective in that he was not pushy yet he was forceful in his presentation of the product and its quality as well the emphasizing the strength of the dealership in providing unequalled service after the sale. He took the time to give me tour of the facility which included an impressive lounge, and a well equipped business center provided for people who have their cars in for service. He explained that there was always a loaner vehicle for those who had to leave their cars and that there was no charge for this service. I was also shown the very large service area and introduced to a very friendly service mgr named Pat. The service area was clean and very well organized. All this was shown and explained in detail by Ed Allen. He explained that each client is provided with one of many service mgrs and that these mgrs supervise the work of those clients assigned to them, making certain that all the maintenance is done effectively and efficiently. John Andrade, Finance Director, was aggressive but not overbearing in presenting the additional products which would add protection and value to Lexus product. He managed to make this added sales effort informative and pleasant. He also knows his business and promotes the added value products well. The Lexus product really sells itself but the human component makes all the difference as to where a person will spend his or her money, in the case of Chambers Lexus of Sharon the human face of Lexus is Mr Ed Allen.......In rereading these comments it sounds like I might be Ed's Dad but I've never met Ed before nor have I visited the Sharon facility, its just that my visit was positive in every way and Ed played a major role in that experience.....
