Awesome dealership, awesome people! This is the 3rd vehicle my family has purchased from Herb Chambers Lexus of Sharon. This is my first one. I purchased a 2010 Lexus IS 250. Rob Williams was our sales man, as he was when my wife leased her SUV last year. The dealership is awesome and Rob is great! He's super honest, down to earth, not pushy - very anti-typical salesman - which makes him awesome to work with. He even took the time to set up blue tooth when I picked up the car, as well as clear some of the prior owners play lists. This was a HUGE help as I never would have been able to do that myself. I have no doubt my family will be having our cars serviced there and using Rob whenever we need a new car for a long, long time. More

It's not just the car that's the best, it's the people. I got lucky. I was looking for a car under $10,000 so in my mind I was not looking for a Lexus. And I really wanted a car I felt good about driving. I'm 65 and have owned many cars in my life and the last 10 have really not been to my liking. I wanted to enjoy my ride. Anyway, I found this Lexus GS300 for under 10K on line. Mileage was 54060 which is really what brought me to the dealership. My first contact was with Madison Callahan on email and then over the phone and it was professional and pleasant. When I arrived the next day, I was lucky enough again to have Madison hand me off to a class salesman. Marc Vigor. I cannot even go into how comfortable Marc made my wife and I feel because it would be the longest review ever written. Suffice to say, we felt bonded to him because of his demeanor and sincere concern for what we wanted. I can't say enough good things about Marc Vigor's approach which I honestly think was him being him. Class act. Obviously my experience at Herb Chambers of Lexus in Sharon was the best car buying experience I ever had and as I've said, I've purchased many cars. The surroundings, rest rooms, hospitality, you name it, it all makes a customer feel like they are actually important. And adding Kolls to the mix enhanced it even more. I hope I can get lucky again when my wife's present car starts to fail. My first stop will be to Herb Chambers of Sharon (and I live in Melrose, MA) and I'll call madison and ask if Marc Vigor is around. Thank you very much for your philosophy and efforts. The worst buying experience Hi, One of the main reasons we dealt with Herb Chambers Lexus (in spite of the fact that we could get better price from another Lexus dealer) was tha Hi, One of the main reasons we dealt with Herb Chambers Lexus (in spite of the fact that we could get better price from another Lexus dealer) was that our family have already bought Mercedes, Porsche, and Infinity from Herb Chambers and we had an excellent experience. Unfortunately buying RX 350 was the worst experience anyone could imagine. Anyway let me start at the beginning: 1. On August 5th around 6PM I have spoken with John Andrade (Pre-Owned Director) inquiring about 2012 Lexus RX350 I found on Herb Chambers Website. Mr. Andrade said that car was still available that time but he is a process of closing the shop and if I would come very next morning I could see and potentially purchase the car. But when I came to the dealership on August 6th around 10:30 in the morning I was told the car was already sold. Unbelievable!? – Car was sold and director of Sales did not know about that? 2. Nick Salem had shown me another RX350 and we agreed on the price and I has put a deposit . But Mr. Salem could not deliver the car the same day because the dealership has not received the Title from Lexus Financial. Meantime, Mr. Salem assured me that I would be able to pick up the vehicle on August 7th, or August 8th the latest. Mr. Salem said that he would call me on August 7th with update. I went home, and my wife and I made our plans for weekend assuming we would have a new car. I had even called my office and took a day off on August 8th in order to pick up the car. 3. Nobody called us on August 7th. On August 8th I had to call Mr. Salem and he had informed me that they still had not received the title. Day off and weekend were destroyed. Mr. Salem has guaranteed that in the worst case scenario he would be able to deliver the car to me on August 11th and again he would call me the latest around 1PM as soon as title is received. 4. I had taken another day off on August 11th. I was waiting and waiting but nobody had called me. I had to call Mr. Salem and left a message. Around 2:30pm I had received a call from Mr. Coles who informed me that he still did not receive the title and does not know when he receives it. Another surprise?! 5. On August 15th Mr. Salem had called me informing that title was received and he would be ready to deliver the car on August 16th. 6. On August 16th my wife and I went to pick up the car. During test drive we had noticed that odometer reads 42153 miles in spite of the fact that at the time of purchasing on August 6th odometer was 41926. 227 miles difference!! Wow, somebody could have driven to NYC. Mr. Andrade was not able to offer any logical explanation but he assured me that very next day he would find out and call me. He NEVER called me. Absolutely unacceptable for the Director of the Dealership – a winner of the Prestigious Elite of Lexus Award. 7. Anyway we took a delivery of the car even we did not have a mats Mr. Salem was supposed to drop in. 8. On August 18th I have send SMS to Mr. Salem reminding him regarding the mats and trunk cover we also did not have. Mr. Salem called me saying that it would take him a couple of days and he would personally deliver these items. 9. On August 25th Mr. Salem called me and said that the items would be delivered on August 25th after 4pm and he will call me in advance. I had cancelled all my plans for the night but again nobody called me. 10. Today is August 27th and we still had not received any calls and nothing was delivered. In conclusion I would like say that it was worst buying experience. Car not only was not delivered on time but it does not have full specification and a lot the scratches. More
Excellent service, no selling pressure at all We were in the process of looking for a new car and had almost decided upon Lexus even before test driving one. We spoke to Cheryl over the phone and went to the showroom for our appointment. There she introduced us to Eric Lustgarten who was the salesperson assigned to us. Eric was extremely patient with us and helped us make a decision. After our test drive we were convinced that we wanted to go ahead with Lexus and there was absolutely no selling pressure from Eric whatsoever. The final number was decided within 10 minutes of us getting back to his desk and we had a deal. We had done our research beforehand and that helped. The follow up by Eric was excellent as well. Once our car was ready for pick up, we met Eric again who gave us a complete tour of the car and explained everything to us. We did not feel rushed at all. He is absolutely amazing and we would love to work with Eric again. The only suggestion I can give Herb Chambers is that while selling the additional warranties/protection plans, they should explained what is already covered and what is not. Again our prior research helped us here. If you decide to go with Lexus, please ask for Eric since our experience was absolutely amazing! Thanks Eric for making it special for us. More
