Since it was my first car buying experience, I am happy to say it was a very positive experience. My salesman was John Puleo. I was referred to directly to him and I was not disappointed. It was very clear he had a deep expertise in the industry and was very friendly. He took the time to walk through all of the options of the car, test drive and on the initial offer. I would recommend him to anyone looking to buy a car because you will be in great hands. He was friendly, professional and courteous. In the finance process, I had the opportunity to work with Zac P. He was great. He explained each piece of the warranty and other insurance and made recommendations since it was my first time. He was very friendly and throrough. He got me an excellent interest rate as well! I highly recommend this dealer and in particular the employees mentioned above. Great job! More
Poor Communications Imagine you made a service appointment and later they called you to move it to a Holiday day which you kindly oblidged. On that Holiday of yours, you drop off your vehicle at 7:30AM and get an estimate of 2.5 hours to complete. You leave and later call in After 1PM to get the status. They say it hasn't been worked on yet and don't think they will get to it today. You then drop by in person at 2PM to find out what's going on and NOW it's done but being washed. You are asked to wait a bit and they will get you. After 45 minutes you check what's taking so long and they say it's waiting to be washed. Next, some guy says, I didn't call you and gives off an attitude like I'm the issue. Now they fumble for my keys and send me off. They totally ruined my Holiday day off and I'm still not sure if my vehicle was ever worked on. The work was to be two safety recalls. More

Horrible Service Experience Could Have Resulted In Death!!! I went to this dealer on Sat, Oct. 10, 2015 to have routine preventive maintenance service (oil change & tire rotation) performed on my 2012 Dodge Dur I went to this dealer on Sat, Oct. 10, 2015 to have routine preventive maintenance service (oil change & tire rotation) performed on my 2012 Dodge Durango. Within a few days after the visit, I began noticing a dull, faint noise when applying my brakes at low speeds (< 20 mph). This was odd because a multipoint safety inspection was completed during my service visit and I was told that both my brakes and tires were still in good shape. A few days later, the noise had gotten worse. Sometimes I would hear the noise when applying the brakes at low speeds or sometimes when just cruising at low speeds. I called the dealer back to make another service appointment and get everything checked out again. There were no appointments available on Sat, Oct. 17 so I made the appointment for Sat, Oct. 24. On Oct. 17, I was driving with my wife and son to his soccer game in NH (1 hour away). On the way back about 30 miles from home the noise was now even audible at highway speeds and was so bad that I pulled over in the breakdown lane to see what the xxxx was going on. I noticed that 1 lug nut was protruding out about 1 inch from one of the tires. Upon further inspection, this lug nut was literally hanging on by a thread and I'm sure that if I kept driving it would have completely fallen off at some point on the highway before I got home. I grabbed the tire iron out of my trunk and tightened the lug nut. Before driving off, I checked all of the other lug nuts and found that ALL OF THE LUG NUTS ON 3 OUT OF 4 TIRES WERE VERY LOOSE. For several lug nuts, I had to turn them 3 or 4 rotations before they even began to tighten. It looked like the technician never torqued the lug nuts after rotating the tires. This extreme negligence by the service technician could have resulted in the death of someone in my family or another driver on the highway if any of the tires came off the car when driving at highway speeds. I immediately drove back to the dealer before going home and told the entire story to the Service Manager. I told him that he needs to find out which technician performed the service and take the appropriate action (re-train or terminate) so that someone else doesn't get hurt or killed in the future from this complete negligence. The Service Manager showed absolutely no emotion, apologized for the "inconvenience" (I'm using his word) and offered me 2 free service visits. I told him that I was never stepping into the dealership ever again for service or anything else. PLEASE STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY!!! More
WORST Experience! After spending over 30mins looking around the lot I had to hunt down a sales person to help me. One sales person handed me off to another which was Edison Lika. Lika acted like I was wasting his time and didn't care about my experience at all! He was completely unprofessional as was another sales consultant who passed by joking about ointments in the middle of our meeting. Lika wasted no time running my credit and telling me to go to "some ma and pa shop down the street" even though I have an excellent credit score. I will never go to a Herb Chambers again and have shared my experience with multiple people. I am however happy to say, less than 2 weeks later I am now leasing a brand new 2015 Dodge and am so happy I didn't listen to Lika. More

Rarely am I so compelled to write a positive review after a buying experience. I really can't say enough about my sales guy Vito at Herb Chambers Danvers. Buying a car is just a frustrating experience no matter what you do. I've been to at least a dozen dealerships over the last few weeks, looked at at least 20 different new cars, and I can honestly say with ease that this was the best by far. Vito is an A+ salesman and really made me feel comfortable with the whole process. It's obviously a car salesman's job to sell as many cars as possible... but Vito's #1 priority while my wife and I were shopping for a Jeep Cherokee seemed to be our satisfaction and comfort level with every aspect of the process. That has had a huge impact on our decision to ultimately purchase the car from Vito at Herb Chambers and honestly we couldn't be happier. I can see why he was just as successful back home in Chicago. Five stars! More
Unproffesional and Dishonest Joe D in finance flat out lied about my loan rate. Told me it would be 3.9 but paperwork was written up at 3.99. Told my registration and sticker would be available the next day- arrived at dealership to find it was not. Told me I could get my sticker in about 20 minutes, was told 15 minutes later that the entire states inspection sticker as down - it was not, I got one across the street. During my financing discussion, Joe D also spent a lot of time talking about drug addiction and marijuana dispensaries- he claimed that marijuana cures cancer but the govt does not want us know...truly one of the most bizzare financial conversations I have ever had. After 4 separate aggravating trips to the dealer , I finally was able to drive away in my new car with reg & sticker...never to return. More

I am currently in a Lemon Law Dispute with Chrysler Fiat LLC because of a Vehicle that Herb Chambers Chrysler Dodge Jeep sold me. Throughout the entirety of fixing the transmission of my brand new 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Altitude edition, I have been womanized and treated poorly by the service personnel and their service director Osiris DeLeon. On more than one occasion I was told that there was nothing wrong with my vehicle, that they were unable to duplicate the concern I had of my transmission revving extremely high and jolting the vehicle forward when shifting from second to third gear. Herb Chambers Chrysler Dodge Jeep and Chrysler Fiat LLC. has lost a customer for life, I highly recommend that you spend your hard earned money else where. More
