Horrible service experience. Brought my jeep in for inspection sticker, oil change and tire rotation. Received call saying everything was done and went to pick up where I paid and received a receipt s inspection sticker, oil change and tire rotation. Received call saying everything was done and went to pick up where I paid and received a receipt showing everything was completed. Went to get my jeep and noticed that it was missing a lug nut and had no inspection sticker. Brought this to attention of service department and was asked to show tech who worked on car which lug was missing. At this point, was asked to wait while they completed the inspection and put the lug on. Over an hour later, I am now told by the same tech who needed me to show him the missing lug nut that he noticed the car was missing the lug nut when I brought it in. I am also now being told that the inspection sticker could not be given due to a crack in the windshield. A crack that was repaired years ago and which has been there for previous inspections by this same dealer. Also, if the lug was missing when I brought it in and the inspection was a problem why wasn't I told when they called to say everything was done. Also, why would they be comfortable with me driving the car away if it was missing a lug nut as that would seem to be a safety issue. I understand mistakes can be made, but lying about them just leaves me doubting the entirety of the service being performed. So disappointed. More

Poor Customer Service I am in the market for a used Fiat so I thought I'd drop in to speak to a salesman. First, Herb Chambers specifies that you must be masked to enter and when I did most of the staff were unmasked and did not have their mouths and nose covered. Beyond that, I walked around and there were several sales people on the floor, but not one asked me if they could help me so after a few minutes I slipped out the side door. My father owned a restaurant for over 35 years, and he drilled it in my head to always acknowledge the customer, no matter what I was in the middle of doing. It is highly unlikely that I will venture back, but I did think it was important for upper management to know. More

The Service department is something to be desired. The tell me they took it for a ride and did not hear anything. I persisted and had them take it for another ride, they still say they don't hear anything and the car did not throw a "code". "Maybe a slight noise coming from a hub" Well then you did hear a noise, I say to Colby. He tells me that I can take the car home yesterday and if it's still making the noise to bring it back today (Friday). I called right at 8:30 Colby is off. So I asked the woman on the phone to talk to someone else because I need to get my car in there today. She says well no because we are already booked straight out. Not to mention they hung up 3 times on my husband when he called. What kind of customer service is this? Do they not want to work on my car because I purchased at a different dealer and do not want to honor warranty work? I took my car to another dealer to look at the car, They heard the noise found that the prop shaft needs to be replaced. I will never take my car to Herb Chambers again and would not recommend them to anyone. More

Not good Herb, I was looking forward to making a purchase of a vehicle I saw on your web page. So I made contact with Cara and she said she would assist me wit Herb, I was looking forward to making a purchase of a vehicle I saw on your web page. So I made contact with Cara and she said she would assist me with the sale. But when her assistant contacted me she didn’t even check my credit. Which I’m very proud of (930). She said she couldn’t sell me the vehicle. I use to live in Danvers, several years ago, I didn’t know by talking to someone over the phone it could change sale. Things have really changed. On your web page it states “we can deliver any vehicle to your driveway” with fifty locations. Then Cara’s assistant said due to the coronavirus we can’t sell you the vehicle. When I went to the car dealership I was introduced to Sarah we connected right away she listened to everything I wa chambers I was speaking to Bobby. When I went to the car dealership I was introduced to Sarah we connected right away she listened to everything I wanted wasn’t happy with the first car out in the rain she went and found just what I was looking for. I told Bobby that because of her I would never go look anywhere else for my car that’s how comfortable she made me feel. She made buying my car a absolutely beautiful pleasure it’s because of her I bought my car. Thank you Sarah and thank you herb chambers for having a wonderful person on your team. I called this morning and spoke with Colby and he was able to get me in today. I dropped my car off and was back in my office within 30 minutes. Everyone was very nice and they were able to fix the problem with my breaks right away even though there were a lot of other cars there too. The waiting area looked nice too. There is one area with a tv and another area that is quieter for people who want to work on their laptops. I definitely want to buy my next car form this dealership. More
