While Sales Agent Damon provided a satisfactory level of service, the overall experience has left much to be desired. Upon purchasing the vehicle, which had reportedly undergone inspection by Volvo, I discovered several critical issues that had been overlooked. Subsequent examination at Nissan Summerville revealed alarming findings, including a leaking timing cover, cracked sway bar bushings, and a fully cracked washer reservoir. These significant mechanical issues were not only concerning but also indicative of a lack of thoroughness in the inspection process conducted by Volvo. Despite the warranty covering the oil-related concerns, the refusal of Hendrick Volvo Cars of Charleston to address the aforementioned critical issues was deeply disconcerting. The assertion that these issues are deemed as "wear and tear" by the dealership, despite contradictory statements from Nissan Summerville, reflects a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and accountability. Furthermore, the failure of Hendrick Volvo Cars of Charleston to either disclose these critical mechanical issues during the inspection or take responsibility for their oversight is utterly disappointing. It is evident that the dealership's commitment to transparency and integrity in their inspection process is severely lacking, resulting in a disheartening and unsatisfactory customer experience. In conclusion, the substandard quality control and inadequate attention to detail exhibited by Hendrick Volvo Cars of Charleston's used car department have left a lasting negative impression. I would caution potential customers to exercise caution and thorough scrutiny when considering purchasing a vehicle from this establishment, as the lack of accountability and customer care demonstrated in this instance is deeply concerning.
