Volkswagen wasn't even on the radar. I was recommended to go to Hendrick by a friend who owned a Volkswagen. There I was introduced to Robert Nixon (RD), the salesman that sold my friend I was recommended to go to Hendrick by a friend who owned a Volkswagen. There I was introduced to Robert Nixon (RD), the salesman that sold my friend his car. I had never owed a Volkswagen, or was there even a thought of owning one. RD worked with me on what I was looking for in a car. I had a list that I was going down of cars I liked and had driven. RD listened to my thoughts, then challenged me by checking off these options in the Volkswagen family of cars. He had an answer or a comparison of why his cars were better. After a test drive of the Jetta, he continued to check off boxes. After working with RD and the sales department on the price and the options, I was sold.
