Best service experience to date! Recommend but with caution My 2012 Prius was acting wonky (not starting) so brought it in on a Thursday morning to find out why, I was without car until late Saturday, and it wa My 2012 Prius was acting wonky (not starting) so brought it in on a Thursday morning to find out why, I was without car until late Saturday, and it was then they told me, at almost 400 dollars later, it was the regular battery. Shouldn't this have been checked first? Communication is really lacking at this dealership, It took several times calling throughout before reaching the service member associated with your car to even give you an update (and not the first time experiencing this, see my google comment) More

5000 Mile Check I arrived at my appointment time exactly and the place was buzzing with lots of other people/vehicles also waiting for service After a little bit o I arrived at my appointment time exactly and the place was buzzing with lots of other people/vehicles also waiting for service After a little bit of a wait I was told it would take a bit longer than usual-at least an hour and a half. Since I had my husband with me in and his car we left as we had several other errands to run. I expecpect at least a 2 hour wait but received a call before within an hour. I was quite surprised but pleasantly surprised and even joked with the staff saying “ did they do anything to my car”. He assured me they did. They gave me a code for the car wash which I tried but after several attempts and no results I drove away. That was Theo lay part of the experience that was not smooth. I’ve been using Hendrix Toyota since I moved to Wilmington in 2012 for sales and service and have always hD stellar service. More

I did have to drive the one hour + to arrive there but I think it was worth it. One thing I wish the Dealer/Toyota had was Military discounts for retired members. This was a little disappointing. I also wish I could have met the Sales Manager first hand as the salesman had to run back and forth to receive approvals. I believe I had received a good deal but you always question yourself after all the papers were signed. I think the sales person was very friendly and knowledgeable. More

The only thing I found irritating with the experience was that, after I first contacted Bill, I told him I had to wait until I had clear title on one of my cars, which may take up to 6 weeks. After my initial visit, I got at least four phone calls from other sales people and was inundated with email from either the dealership itself or other salespeople. My husband had just died, and this flood of insistence felt like I was drowning. At least three unwanted and unnecessary phone calls were made to me specifically where the person told me they would put me on some list that would stem these calls and emails. More
