I needed to a new set of tires and to have my 2017 Tundra checked out and serviced. I decided to go back to Hendrick Toyota where I bought the truck as I also felt it needed an alignment. Checking out the Service Staff on line, I chose to work with Kim Nigh and she was great! Very helpful, knowledgeable and responsive to my needs. I was even provided a loaner vehicle so I could leave the truck overnight at no charge. It was an expensive visit .... HOWEVER, I received substantial savings on the tires and my truck is now ready to hit the road again as we travel with our trailer quite a bit. I'll look forward to continuing my Tundra's care with Kim/Hendrick Service and hope that all future experiences go this well! More
Good review Maintenance service was performed Wednesday. On Thursday, I noticed the required maintenance light was still on. I drove back to the dealership where a service rep was able to turn off the required maintenance light for me. I had left my ipad at the dealership on Wednesday. Jill Hart called me Wednesday night and Thursday morning to let me know she had found my ipad. So thankful for her assistance in returning it to me! More
I took my car in for routine oil change, tire rotation and interior/exterior detail. They did a very good job on the detailing and had the work finished sooner than anticipated. They told me if I hadn't gotten the warranty it would cost me over 2,000 dollars. An hour later they told me it was only a crack so was not covered until an actual leak occurred . Just took it back in 6 months later and they tell me yes it is a leak but not covered because it isn't a big enough leak, maybe next oil change after my warranty runs out. What good is a warranty if you can't collect when thing are broken on your car. Dealership that offer their own warranties instead of a Toyota extended warranty suffer a conflict of interest. Let me tell you it won't be yours. Stuck paying the bill. Sucks when you pay for a warranty you can't use. More
Run Your Numbers in a Car Loan Calculator Yourself! I purchased a used RAV4 from Hendrick Toyota - Merriam back in October when they were running a promotion of 1.9% APR on Certified Used Toyotas. We en I purchased a used RAV4 from Hendrick Toyota - Merriam back in October when they were running a promotion of 1.9% APR on Certified Used Toyotas. We ended up working with Kelly, who was great. She was very nice and was able to answer our questions about the vehicle. I also liked that she allowed my husband to sit in the front seat when we went for our test drive. After our test drive we decided to go talk some numbers and see if I qualified for the 1.9% APR. As it was approaching 6pm at that time I asked if we should return earlier on another day as I knew that this could turn into me purchasing the car and they closed at 8pm, she reassured me that it was okay. We found out that I did qualify for the 1.9% and that is when the sales manager, David, tried to pull a fast one over us. *I highly recommend that you run your own numbers through a car loan calculator before coming here.* When the monthly payment came out well over $100 more than what my previous calculations came out I questioned whether he ran those with the 1.9% APR. He hadn't. That's okay, accidents happen, but then Kelly came back and it was still wrong! This may have been my first time buying a car but I'm not an idiot. So that pissed me off. I do feel like Kelly was on my side through the process, so that was good but I lost trust in David. After some further negotiations I felt comfortable making the purchase on the car. We then worked with the finance manager to get everything signed - his name tag said Robert but everyone was calling him Grant, so that was a little odd. By this time it was after 8pm so he was understandably in a rush going through everything - since this was our first time buying a car I do wish he would have at least not talked so fast. There was even one point when he said something too fast and I asked him to repeat that and he said it just as quickly, which I thought was pretty rude. Picking up the vehicle and collecting our We Owe items all went smoothly following that. More
