Deciding to purchase a new CRV we visited other dealers and found that the team at Hendrick Honda met our needs. They where advised that the purchase needed to be accomplished in a short period of time but and found that the team at Hendrick Honda met our needs. My wife and I where able to compare the vehicles side by side and made a choice withing five minutes. The team member understood the limited amount of time available for us. The worst part was that I felt he contradicted himself and said different things. So, I did not buy any additional warranties. Wish I did not have to deal with that and it had been explained to me ahead of time. Also, I am very disappointed that when you buy a brand new car, Hendrick Honda does not offer free oil change etc. for the first 30K miles, because that is what Toyota dealer gave us when we bought our new Toyota. More

My daughter had the misfortune and fortune to have an accident right in front of the dealership. She and her brother were driving from school in NC home to CT. The guys came out to see if everyone was ok accident right in front of the dealership. She and her brother were driving from school in NC home to CT. This dealer was in two words: horrible and deceitful. I may just report them to Honda. That really says it all. He also told me he had "friends at that dealership" that told him no way would they really give me the price they promised, after I attempted to hold him to his promise to "match or beat any price". He then told me his absolute lowest offer was $100 over the last "lowest offer" he had sent me via email!!!!! He also told me the car they promised to show me was not real and they were just luring me in. I am writing this email after having driven in to work in the car I was promised, which I bought at the price promised, when promised---FROM ANOTHER DEALER. I would mention the name, but I am afraid it will get this review booted. David was very pushy on the phone, interrupting me constantly and only pausing in between lies to get me to commit to buy from them right then right now. I understand this is a tough business, but I hope that dishonesty and ugliness like this won't trick you into giving them your business. Buyer be warned! I am writing the review because I am disgusted at the level of dishonesty and shady business that I got from this dealer. By the way, if they are promising a lifetime warranty--you can buy it anywhere and they just tack it onto their price anyway, so basically they force you to buy it. Cool, huh? More
I was in for oil change for 2009 Civic. Kevin called me before my appointment to see if I would like to upgrade it, I told him I would think about it. THIS DEALER LIES TO ITS CUSTOMERS. In December 2011 I serviced my car at Hendrick Honda, at which time they told me that I needed to replace my power steering fluid. I declined the service and ended up g serviced my car at Hendrick Honda, at which time they told me that I needed to replace my power steering fluid. I declined the service and ended up getting it done at another mechanic a few days later for half the price. This past week (6 months later), I brought in my car for an oil change. They called to tell me that the power steering fluid needed to be replaced again because it was really dirty. When I told them that I had it replaced it a few months ago somewhere else, they sounded surprised and told me 'they must have done a bad job.' I was skeptical and told them to not change it. Once I picked up my car, I took it to the other mechanic who changed my power steering fluid. He showed me my fluid and fluid from a brand new container; they were the exact same. Hendrick Honda just saw that I had declined the service earlier and brought it up again, despite the fact that I clearly didn't need it. They lie to their customers. I will never go to them again.
