The Little Things That Matter! I had found a car which suited my needs, and had planned on trading my current vehicle in for a car they were advertising. The sales personal were we I had found a car which suited my needs, and had planned on trading my current vehicle in for a car they were advertising. The sales personal were well mannered and weren't pushy, and I rather liked the entire process. It was not until I heard the discussion between two sales personnel of the dealership which through me off. As I was sitting and waiting I overheard the conversation, between my sales rep and his manager. I understand dealerships are about making money and selling vehicles, but the last thing I want to hear is how well the dealership is making compared to the customer. I overheard the manager say, "Looks like we did very good for ourselves on this deal." The comment is not over the top, but when you factor in the process of buying a car, the last thing you want too hear as a customer is how well the dealership did. Secondly, I did my research and due diligence on what I brought to the table when it came to purchasing the car. When the sales manager came back to me and told me my credit score, I was shocked. I average a credit score of 760, and when he came back with a 700 I was surprised. He said it was because of my credit score that I could not get a better rate. After sitting there for several hours and making the three hour commute I decided to go forth with the purchase regardless of these two issues. Advice to sales team: Do not discuss how well the deal is going for the dealership compared to the customer, when the customer is within hearing distance. Secondly, there is a major difference between an Excellent credit score versus a Good credit score, so do not give the customer a bogus piece of information (I checked my credit score yesterday, and it still averaged 760 between all three reporting agencies). More

They are both excellent in their ways but this "Big Swede" Jorgen Malmgren knows everything about this vehicle and he helped my decision easier. He has so much knowledge about it inside and out, 2 THUMBS up. I wish all the car salesmen would be like him. He is sincere and honest. Inattentive Staff Cost them a Sell After much research, My wife and I decided on a Jeep Grand Cherokee. We came into the dealership fully prepared to purchase a New Model. The initial contact was with John who was very helpful and patient as we test drove two different vehicles, a 4x2 and 4x4 version of the Grand Cherokee. We decided on the 4x4 model and started the paperwork. That is where everything went down hill. John informed us that he will need some assistance since this was his first week on the job and we understood. We interacted with a sales consultant named Matt and a gentleman who introduced himself as Jerry. Jerry said he was one of the finance or sales managers, I don't remember. They asked us about our trade and what payment we are looking for. We told them around no more than $450 a month. Jerry said that would be doable and then asked me what I did for a living. I told him I was a paramedic and then he said "Well we need to look at the cheaper model then". I said okay then, run the numbers on both vehicles, so we can compare them. They came back only with the least expensive model, marked up the price $3000 more than they advertised the vehicle online, and offered a monthly payment of $565. They also ignored the sign in the dealership that read $1000 dollar bonus cash that was placed on top of a Grand Cherokee inside the showroom. To add insult, they low balled our trade at $4000, $1500 less that what KBB said we could get for our vehicle on trade. I called them out on the discrepancy of price and they said "That is the best we can do, cause you know everybody wants a Grand Cherokee". At that point, we decided to leave. If they have had listen to us on the price discrepancy and offered all incentives that they advertised we would have driven home in a new vehicle. Stinks because, all other reviews posted about this dealership are excellent. Just wish we could have had the same experience. For the record: $32595 base price-$3000 advertised "internet price"-$1000 dollar bonus cash-$5500 trade allowance-$500 discount for being a public servant (Thankful for this because they did not have to do it)=$22595. $22595 should have been the price they came to us with and they would have had an immediate sale. -Andy More
