Had my oil changed in December. two days later found a puddle of unknown liquid underneath car. Fearing it might be brake fluid and I live far from the dealership I had the car towed in to get fixed. Turned out they said it was a faulty gasket on the oil filter. They fixed it and I went on my way. It cost me 15 bucks for the tow and a ride to pick up the car. Mostly an inconvenience: it happens. Was hoping for a ride from the dealership to pick the car up, but apparently they dont go out that far, and maybe a credit for the tow, but its all good. Still satisfied overall with service from Heiser, especially the attention Matt gives on what I need done and explanations on my questions. Keep up the good work! More

Background : We bought our 2022 Corolla Hybrid as “brand new“ at Heiser Toyota in October 2021. As part of our purchase, Toyota provides two complementary years of “Toyota Care“ which is essentially oil ch new“ at Heiser Toyota in October 2021. As part of our purchase, Toyota provides two complementary years of “Toyota Care“ which is essentially oil changes entire rotations for 2 years. All of our “Toyota Care“ work was done at Heiser Toyota… And each trip for tire work resulted in Heiser‘s technicians erroneously inflating our tires to a level other than that set by the manufacturer! Our tires are to be set at 38 psi in the front and 36 psi in the back according to the manufacturer. The first time we went to Heiser for service they only inflated them to 35 psi on all 4 tires! Unfortunately, I didn’t notice that ridiculous error (which is listed on their computer screen, all they have to do is look it up) until we arrived home. At that point, it was up to me to spend more personal time and money to find a closer facility where I could inflate my tires properly on my own. Fast forward to December, 2024. We decided to give Heiser a fifth “2nd chance“ on something we thought they could not screw-up… a simple install of 4 brand new tires. That was a big mistake by us! While researching available tires on the Toyota website, we found a set with an 80,000 mile warranty… And Heiser specifically was offering a deal of if you got a set of new tires from them they would provide you “free lifetime tire rotations” so we rolled the dice. Heiser took nearly the entire day to install 1 set of tires so when we arrived for pick-up we were in a bit of hurry causing us not to notice “missing” Info regarding our service. 1- Should the customer have to remind the dealership about “hey, where is the warranty information regarding the 80,000 mile tires you just put on our car? 2- “Hey, Where is there a reference on my bill regarding the “free lifetime rotations“ we just paid for? 3- “Hey, where is the information about the “free 24- mo. road. hazard“ coverage Tommy said comes with our purchase? 4- “Hey, how come there is absolutely no reference on the paperwork to the TIRE PRESSURE SETTINGS on these brand new tires… Particularly since the bill actually had printed on the billing statement “CUSTOMER WANTS TIRE PRESSURE SETTINGS EXACT … PLEASE BE THOROUGH“? Are You’re starting to see why you should not trust Heiser Toyota to service your expensive vehicle? Part of the problem at Heiser is that you no longer get your keys from the service technician who oversaw the work on your car. Instead, your keys have been passed along to the cashier and so you don’t even think twice about going through the paperwork to look for things like missing “warranty information“ Or tire inflation data until you’re already back at your house.
