Having just purchased a new Elantra from Harbor Hyundai today, I must say it was the first positive experience I've had with buying a car from a dealership. Our salesman, Mike Casalegno, was straightforwa today, I must say it was the first positive experience I've had with buying a car from a dealership. Our salesman, Mike Casalegno, was straightforward and professional from the get-go, and he changed my longstanding negative impression of car salespeople. The sales manager and finance guy were friendly and low key as well. No hard sell, no bait and switch, no drawn-out "let me go see if my manger will approve this" drama. Our relationship started with an attractive internet quote - Mike followed up immediately with a phone call, and we quickly came to terms regarding one of the vehicles he had in stock. The whole negotiation consisted of two five minute phone calls and I was very satisfied with the price, having done my homework knowing what these cars typically sell for. When we went in to pick up the car, Mike went over and above my expectations in making sure we understood every detail of the purchase process, and never once did I feel he was trying to gloss over or misrepresent anything. The price we verbally agreed to was the price I paid. Mike was also extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle we were purchasing. After doing the paperwork, he spent another 30 minutes making sure I became familiar with the location/operation of every single control and feature before driving off, right down to programming the car's bluetooth to pair up with my cell phone. He was very personable and genuinely helpful, the kind of guy you would like to have as a next door neighbor. I have a coworker who is also in the market for a new car and I can hardly wait to refer her to Mike and Harbor Hyundai. Hence the 5 star rating across the board. I entered there as a customer and walked away as an advocate. More

First, the reason that I visited Harbor was that your internet program was consistent, but not intrusive, and made offers along the way. The cost barrier between this 2011 car rental co resale and a new 2012 Elantra with the several perks that come with the new car made it a no-brainer for me. Josh was a superb sales guy (I'm a national salesperson). He provided a respectful steady explanation and close and we (my neice and I) gave him a number of opportunities to "lose it", by our switching directions to a new vehicle when he nearly had us closed on the used car, but he simply grew to be more trustworthy as we went on. One comment about the two items offered after closing.... The insurance cap needs to be better researched with the insurance industry to be sure you are not inadvertantly giving a false impression and the claim that the insurance cap is offered with a decrease of interest rate. You need to offer a written decrease in interest a true quid-pro-quo, or not offered at all that way. The sealant protection spiel needs to be updated with a fact sheet, color photos, etc.Some real science would also be deeply appreciated. Even if it is prepared by you in the dealership, together with some sort of real guarantee. I might have been interested if you could prove that your product is superior to any work done in a detailer's shop por has more longevity, or simply is guaranteed. If you are going to risk all of your good will on these last two "offerings", they should be more seamless in their presentation, and backed up with "show and tell" liturature. While I bought the insurance deal,The sealant deal has far too much old negative press for me to consider without something really compelling...like a satisfaction or performance guarantee. More
I didn't want to spend 6 hours in a dealership haggling over new car prices so I did my search for a new Elantra over the internet. My request for a quote was sent to multiple dealers, and Mike Casalegno got back to me very quickly with a very good price on exactly the car I wanted. The exact color I wanted with exactly the right options, no more mo less. He didn't try to get me into a more expensive car, or upgrade me to the most expensive car on the lot. I filled out a quick credit report online from home and when I arrived at the dealer, Mike had me approved for a five year loan for LESS than the impressive Hyundai rate of 3.99. My rate was 2.89, and I didn't ask Mike to find me a better rate, he just did it and saved me hundreds in the process. Bottom line... I got the car I wanted at the price I wanted and I was in and out of the dealership in just over an hour. No games or haggling, but exactly the car I wanted. I also liked that Mike's personal vehicle was the same car I purchased. Nothing more fishy than buying a Hyundai from a guy driving a BMW. Check out the Elantra, 2012 car of the year by numerous publications. I love this car, the mpg, the amazing warranty, and HARBOR HYUNDAI will get my business as I purchase more cars for my family. They provide honest service and will do what they can to make sure your experience is a great one. On my recent trip, the lumbar support & airbag sensor in my driver side seat had gone bad. Unfortunately, it was out of warranty (92000 miles) and I was going to pay over $2,600 to get both parts fixed. Lucky for me, I found my extended warranty from GE and Harbor took care of the rest. They called GE, made sure the items were covered and even scheduled both service work to be done at the same time, packaging it as one warranty job. This saved me having to pay the deductible twice!! Needless to say, the dealership provided great customer service and kept me informed the whole way. More

When I went in to the dealership, he was very professional and did not pressure like other dealers buying process online and he was very responsive.
