I would like to apologize for not properly explaining all the features on your new Honda. If your still in the area, please contact me and we will set up for one of the new car managers to review your New Honda with you. There must have been a miscommunication with the $100 oil changes, the maintenance program includes oil changes and ALL required maintenance for 3 years or 36000 miles. When dealing with banks at a store level we strive to find the lowest rate for the customer however there are some instances that home town banks or a bank you have a ongoing relationship can give you a better rate. Customer satisfaction is our top priority and we have not performed to ours or your satisfaction. Please give us the opportunity to make you a 100% satisfied. Thank you for your time Mr. Lark. I am still in the area but I will try to figure out the few remaining feature operations on my own. As to the 100.00 oil changes, I was not told the oil changes were 100.00 each. However, based on the price Hall wanted for the maintenance agreement, and all other maintenance being considered for the first 36000 miles, I estimate oil changes averaging around 100.00 each. Besides, Hall offers the first 2 oil changes free when you buy the car as I understand it. I would have considered the maintenance agreement if it had been 3 years, unlimited miles. And thirdly, the interest rate. I insisted on using Honda Finance during the deal. The direct answer of who would be getting my loan was avoided numerous times. When I spoke to F&I after the fact as to why only after the deal did I find out who the loan was through, I got "That was the best choice for me.". For "me" as in dealer, not "me" as in buyer. Thanks for your concern in this matter. I will be having my Civic serviced by a Honda dealer in the future. I guess I will know in time if the maintenance agreement was a money maker for me or the dealer.
