Steve82, I am sorry to hear about your disapointment with your experience here at Hall Honda Virginia Beach. We never want our customers to walk away unhappy, therefore let me further explain your trade situation. Due to the fact that the trade had 2 accidents on the car fax report that we disclose to anyone interested in purchasing this vehicle it was the appropriate value for the trade. In regards to the amount that its being advertised on the lot for there are several things that must happen in reconditioning of any car we intend to resell such as drive ability, cosmetic, and any other issues we find during our inspection all of which have a cost that must be added to the price of the car. All of our prices on the internet never change however they are all plus freight and any accessories added by the dealer which is in the disclaimer on our website. Thanks Chris. I appreciate your response. However, I still have to disagree when it comes to my trade in. Minus my coupon my car was valued at $13,500. That's a $8,400 difference from what it is being listed for now. I was told you guys could get the body damage fixed for a better price than I could but even if we pretend you had it done for the higher amount I had received an estimate for ($1,372), that brings the difference to $7,028. The car was in excellent condition and had low mileage (24K) for something that was driven for three years. All maintenance and inspections had been done at the dealership. So I don't think much was spent on drive ability, cosmetics, or any other issues. According to the Carfax, the only other work that was done by Hall before it was put for sale was replacing the cabin filter and wiper blades. I hope you can see why I'm unhappy about what I was given for the trade. Especially since I was purchasing my second car from Hall Honda. I understand you have to price the car to make a profit. But I think there was enough to pass a little on to me towards my new purchase. Thanks again for your time.
