I just bought a new Jeep Wrangler here. Curt was extremely helpful, making sure that I got exactly what I was looking for. I usually avoid dealerships but this time I am glad I went in. This the only Dodge dealership that I would go to or recommend to my friends in this area of Virginia. They have the best selection and the most helpful staff from the General Manager down to the worker recommend to my friends in this area of Virginia. They have the best selection and the most helpful staff from the General Manager down to the workers in the shop they really care about the customer. When they realized that they did not have exactly what options for the new truck I wanted, they searched the entire country till they located the truck that did. Then they worked for several days to get the vehicle transported and the price down to the best deal possible. I will update this as the deal is finished. More

Gino Chiara was a great agent!! Would go back to hm in a heart beat. We plan to return to him again maybe next year to purchase another vehicle. The only thing he could have done better is kept in contact w heart beat. We plan to return to him again maybe next year to purchase another vehicle. The only thing he could have done better is kept in contact with us about when our truck was going to be ready. We signed all paperwork on the 29th of November but our truck wasn't ready for pickup until December 1st at 4pm. I also had to call him because he didn't call me to see if the truck was ready. But overall beside what was listed We enjoyed him as our agent and would refer him to others!!! More
My experience at Hall Automotive was fantastic!!! My husband and I lost a vehicle to the November Noreaster and desperatly need a car. Our problem however was the fact that we had no way to go look at o husband and I lost a vehicle to the November Noreaster and desperatly need a car. Our problem however was the fact that we had no way to go look at one =( We saw a car that we took an interest to on they're website and gave Hall a call. We talked to David Moore, and he completely understood our situation. He brought the vechicle that me and my husband were looking at out to OUR house on his day off so we could look at at!! Even though it wasnt the vehicle that we ended up getting, the overall experince was amazing! The staff at Hall automotive was so welcoming and so super friendly. I would deffinatly recommend anyone who is looking for a vehicle to Hall and I will deffinatly purchuase more vehicles from them!! Thank you David, and the Staff at Hall Automotive!!! My search for a truck started (9OCT09) as just looking with a friend who was looking for a truck. I was just tagging along. My friend is a Dodge fan and I a Ford fan so you can see why I was just looking. with a friend who was looking for a truck. I was just tagging along. My friend is a Dodge fan and I a Ford fan so you can see why I was just looking. The more he looked and explained the Dodge truck line, the more interested I became. The biggest "hook" for me at this point was the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty since my friend knew I drove the life out of my vehicles. I looked at trucks at Hall Dodge first and since I was just tagging along, we continued on. My friend had dealt with Greenbriar Dodge before so we went there and my quest started there. The associate was a bit pushy in wanting a deal right away. Wanting to know how much I wanted to spend, what my payments, etc (blah, blah, blah) you know the drill. I told him what I "needed" the truck to as a "must have" and what bells and whistles I did not need. There was no truck on the lot we could agree on so the sales person said they could look online for what I wanted from another dealer. As it got later, the salesman said he would have the manager keep looking the next day as he was going hunting. The next day I received no contact from anyone at Greenbriar until I called them in the early evening. I was pretty disgusted at their lack of interest. That is when I called Curt from Hall Dodge. Curt had shown me two trucks the day before. I asked if he still had the "arrest me" red that had the things I told him were a "must have". He said he did. I told him I have "this much money" and if he wanted to sell the truck for "this much money" out the door I would buy the truck. He said he would check with the manager. I figured I wouldn't get a call back for awhile or told I needed to come in to discuss the sale. I got a call back within 15 minutes with a price and I told Curt to give me a few minutes to juggle numbers on my end. He said ok. Curt called back in less than 5 minutes with another offer and I accepted it. You might say it was a hand shake over the phone. At this time it is around 1900 on 10OCT09 and the dealer closes at 2000. I told Curt to put a sold sign on it and I would come in on Monday to do the paperwork. Curt said unless I objected, I could come in that evening!!!! I was 30 minutes away! I went in at 1930 and Curt and Mike stayed until all the paperwork was done. Mike and Curt explained everything as we went along and did not rush to leave. All my questions were answered fully, and I asked alot of them as this was the first Dodge truck I was about to own. I left the office at 2215 in my new truck!!!! In less than a week, Curt called me and told me Mike said I needed to come in and sign some additional paperwork. I asked what is was for as I had signed enough paperwork to enlist in the military 3 times! He said he didn't know and would have Mike call. I told him I was on emergency leave for a terminally ill family member and could we deal with this upon my return. He said it was up to Mike. Mike calls the next day and says the 0% financing did not go through with GMAC but he found a bank to finance the loan. I was livid!!! Mike said I needed to sign all the new paperwork as soon as possible. I explain about my emergency leave situation and said I would take care of things upon my return. He said the paperwork had to be completed and that he would FEDEX everything to me. Again I was even more livid! Livid that there was no empathy or consideration, just paperwork. I told him he could have the truck back. The next day James from finance calls me. He is concerned that I want to return the truck. I explain everything that transpired over the phone with Curt and Mike and he said he didn't hear all of that. He said he watched the recording of the original paperwork signing and apologized for the lack of empathy and encrochment on my family. He explained what had happened and said the paperwork would wait until my return and that I would be dealing directly with him from that point on. Upon my return, I met with James and he explained in depth what had happened and where we needed to go from there. He even gave me the option of returning the truck at no charge for its use. I decided to keep the truck. James voided all the previous paperwork one piece at a time to explain the difference in the numbers with the new financing. James answered all my questions and was extremely patient with my wanting to juggle numbers for a better understanding. He even let me use use HIS calculator! When it was all said and done, I saved an additional $4500 on the truck!! Curt apologized with sincerity and accepted responsibility for his lack of empathy over the phone. James was sincere in accepting responsibility for everything. The dealership manager also apologized and said this case would be used to train employees to ensure there is better communication. Curt was great overall. He was not pushy when I first said I was just looking. He said no problem, let me know if you change your mind. He kept his word for our over the phone aggreement when it came to the cost of the truck. I know he is glad he didn't go hunting!!! Overall, though I had a bit of a rough spot in getting the paperwork straightened out, everyone involved accepted responsibility for the events that occurred and there was no passing the buck to blame someone else. So if you are in NEED of a truck or just WANT one, go see Curt Cooper at Hall Dodge. More
My husband and I went on a search for a car (new or used) that would be family friendly for the little one we have on the way, affordable, comfortable for me to drive. But we had no idea what we were lookin that would be family friendly for the little one we have on the way, affordable, comfortable for me to drive. But we had no idea what we were looking for and felt overwhelmed. We were approached by Curt Cooper who was very willing to help us and show us different cars (in the dark late evening on a Saturday). He wasn't the usual pushy salesman, he was friendly and fun to talk to. He could tell we were not satisfied with what we had looked at and had one more for us to try out, a 2010 Dodge Journey. He really took the time to show us all of the features we were looking for in a car, keeping price in mind. The purchasing process was simple and we were even moderatley satisfied with final price they offered for my trade-in. What I didn't enjoy was the shuffle of people we had to speak to during the financing process, but because it was a Navy Federal CU Tent Sale, I think circumstances were a little different. All were very friendly. Also, we were given a price which we liked very much and then were slammed with all the warranty crap. We ended up purchasing an Economy package, but it really tacked on to the price we thought we were going to pay. We still came out with a good deal and love our new car. More
Dave Moore went above and beyond in assisting me to obtain my vehicle. He was the epitimy of courtesy. I had experienced a not so pleasant encounter with a 'fly by night' dealer, and Dave reassured m obtain my vehicle. He was the epitimy of courtesy. I had experienced a not so pleasant encounter with a 'fly by night' dealer, and Dave reassured me that is NOT the norm. He answered all my questions, and made my whole experience pain free. I am not a big money maker client, and appreciate the time and consideration of my needs exemplary. I was without transportation, and Dave picked me up from work and helped me choose the vehicle that would work best for me. Not many dealerships do that. More
My initial contact with Hall Chrysler Jeep Dodge was in late 2006, when I drove on the lot in my 2000 Toyota Avalon, I never thought that would be the last time I drove that car. I was greeted by Mr. Stac late 2006, when I drove on the lot in my 2000 Toyota Avalon, I never thought that would be the last time I drove that car. I was greeted by Mr. Stackhouse. First impression, do last a long time. “To make a long story short”, Mr. Stackhouse was very friendly, informative, caution, and polite. I saw what I wanted, he closed the deal, and I drove of the lot in my brand new '06 Chrysler 300. Once my lease expired, I decided to return to Hall Chrysler Jeep Dodge. The experience was like no other and again, Mr. Stackhouse closed the deal and I drove off the lot in my NEW '09 Chrysler 300 (with a moon roof). I would recommend Hall Chrysler Jeep Dodge and especially Mr. Stackhouse to all of my friends and family and even those individual looking at me in my beautiful Chrysler. Thank you for your great customer service Cassandra More
I bought a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7L HEMI Quad Cab back in July at Hall Dodge in Virginia Beach, and I have nothing to say but good things about my experience there. First of all, the sales representative my July at Hall Dodge in Virginia Beach, and I have nothing to say but good things about my experience there. First of all, the sales representative my wife and I worked with was Glenn Clark . I was advised by a co-worker who bought the same truck last year to ask for Glenn too, and I am glad I did. The first day I saw a truck I wanted, very nice truck. We exchanged information and told him we would be in contact and think about it. The next day we talked again, and began to talk a deal. Long story short, they dealer did not want to come down on the price that we wanted, which we were pushing hard for, may have been a little unrealistic too. But, not a minute later, we went outside to find something else, and the perfect truck pulled out of the inspection shop. Yes, the part where a dealership checks everything to ensure that the truck is ready to be sold(unlike some dealers in the area, Greenbrier). Anyway, immediately I told Glenn, this is what I want. So, after a couple hours of understanding our offer(inside joke), we got a deal done. He came down on the price a little bit, and then took our offer into consideration, and the deal was done. Granted their was a misunderstanding in our offer with the down payment and trade in, but it got solved, and both parties were happy. The truck has had "NO PROBLEMS" since the date of purchase, and is running and looking great. Which is not always the case, certain dealerships seem to not even inspect the vehilces before they go on the sales lot(check Greenbrier review I wrote). And if you work with Glenn, plan on being called every onece in awhile, he called my wife and I on our birthdays. I felt as though he was not just trying to get a sale and have me buy any truck, but get a sale for what I wanted. Hall Dodge in Virginia Beach is the BEST dealership in the area. They said their competition is Greenbrier Dodge, and that is the only thing I disagree with Hall Dodge, because their is no competition. More
