I am sorry to hear about your concern, if you would forward the vin number, I will be glad to research your concern. I have looked at a couple of Eco Boost F150's and am getting a variance in MPG's that are in range of your comments. This time of year we see a drop slightly based on several variables, examples are fuel blends for winter use change and idle times seem to extend. A option is to take it to a Ford store to see if there is anything in memory or possibly a reflash to the processor. Are you in range of Hagerstown? We would be glad to visit your concern. Look forward to your response, Thank you.

My Dealership participates in the DealerRater Certified Dealer Program. We are committed to providing high quality customer service, but based on your DealerRater review, you did not share that experience. That is very disappointing to us, and through this program we have the opportunity to work with you to resolve any issues with your experience at their dealership. Mary I am not showing you ever purchased a vehicle from Hagerstown Ford. Who did you speak with and are you sure you selected the correct dealership? YES! I AM VERY SURE! I have heard many horror stories of your dealership doing things of this nature and I'm sure many more complaints will arise in the next couple weeks. I have talked with many at your dealership Hagerstown ford/king auto (Rick Kelly). I am sure if you ask a few of your employees you will find that many E-mails have been sent to you by me and many others regarding these types of sales. You take advantage of people and think your going to get away with it, I can tell you this dealer rating and many other is only the start to all this. Lawsuits and news stories will soon follow if you don't stand up and start doing whats right by your customers. Thank you, Dan and Mary miller

I can assure you that you are mistaken. We take care of our customers after they purchase a vehicle from us. I have looked into our system and I can find no record of a sale by Hagerstown Ford to a Dan or Mary Miller on a Ford Fusion. By chance did you actually purchase the vehicle from Massey?

Jan 16, 2012 -

Hagerstown Ford responded

With the mention to a CarFax issue that an accident was actually reported as a tire rotation is also in accurate. A dealership cannot change a report on CarFax it is an independent company. If you wouldn't mind give me your VIN# and the salesperson that sold you the vehicle so we can vaidate your claim against the dealership please, and thank you for your cooperation.

Jan 16, 2012 -

M,miller responded

There are many more review sites and a long list of your past customers on your face book page for me to contact. I can assure you this is not over or done by any means! The dealership is Hagertown ford, king auto group! I didn't say you changed only you reported it as a tire rotation and you are using carfax to sale cars when you know they are not true reports. You sold it to my Fiance Dan

Jan 16, 2012 -

Hagerstown Ford responded

There is no Dan Miller that purchased a 2010 Ford Fusion from us! To get things resolved we need correct information. If you were not in the purchase why would you make a false claim against the dealership. I have checked with Mr. Kelly and he was never notified by anyone as well. In the CarFax age that we live in we have to go off the same information that you see. If a customer trades in a vehicle to a dealership and doesn't disclose that it was damaged and we run a carfax and we cannot see it as well how would we know??? We have to take a customers word for what it is! I am interested in who told you the vehicle had been in an accident? If you were trying to trade in the vehicle somewhere I am sure they were telling you things so they could get your vehicle for a lower price. Let me ask you these questions..A. If you purchased a vehicle from us was the price a good price? B. Did you like the vehicle when you left the dealership? and C. What changed from the time you purchased it to trying to trade it in?

Jan 16, 2012 -

M,miller responded

We are not trading it we are paying the money to have it fixed out of our pocket! What changed is we found out it was crashed and we where lied to about it. We can clearly see it has been crashed and have had many serviuce centers look at it and tell us that there is no way a dealership would not notice these damages. You lied. I DON'T WORK ON CARS I'm a girl and I notice it AND DID WITH IN A WEEK OF HIM OWNING IT! How could you not? Now I have to help pay for your lies.

Jan 16, 2012 -

Hagerstown Ford responded

When did he purchase the vehicle and I can assure you that if there was an issue and you brought it to someones attention in management then there would have been something done about it. What type of work are you getting completed? and are you opposed to us helping you fix your issue. You said "I lied" but this is the first I have heard of your issue. I want to help you but unless you give me the specifics of the vehicle it's hard for me to get anything done. We have a new Used car manager here and we would like to make things right if you let us.

Jan 16, 2012 -

Hagerstown Ford responded

Ms. Miller, I would like to assist you with your complaint about Hagerstown Ford. Unfortunately,I can not locate any record of a Dan, Daniel or Mary Miller that had purchased a Fusion recently. In the complaint, you said that you had spoken to me but I can not recall the conversation. I am sorry if we have spoken and I would be happy to meet with you and see if I can resolve your issue. Could you email me the serial number of the car so I can look into it further? rkelly@hagerstownford.com

Dear Steaminginpa, My name is Tim Rowe P&S Director at Hagerstown Ford. I had this review passed on to me. Is there any way you would want to have a dialogue related to your comments? With more information maybe I could get to the bottom of your complaint. I am not stating thst I can reverse anything but don't know unless I can review your case. Thank you, Tim Rowe

Sorry I have been round, and round with lack of proper diagnosing of the real problem the truck had. After spending $5,000 to get the truck right at a non Ford shop I think it is only fair to let others know just what goes on when you depend on a dealership to "take care of you". I will not ever be shopping at Hagerstown Ford nor will I have any repairs made there again. I forgot to mention the truck required another oil cooler before the replacement had 3,000 miles on it. Incompetent diesel mechanics. Post will stand!

I appreciate your sentiments, I understand the frustration that goes on and around the repair process. My goal, to review this case and to see if there is anything I can take to Ford related to it and at least see were the process broke down. With out a vin or some base information I can not fully respond. If you would provide this maybe something positive can come from your comments, for yourself or the next customer.

My case is closed as far as I am concerned. Truck had 84,000 miles on it when the symptoms I listed above occurred. The truck had 86,000 miles when it went to a non Ford shop and was fixed right. You see the problem with the truck was started under warranty, but I was told by the service advisory to let it go a little farther because in his eyes the symptoms could have been a number of different things. When the truck was in I asked to have Hagerstown Ford check the head gaskets. They did not. They said truck was fine the whole time the issue was going on. Only after educating myself to check the engine myself did I find the real problem, which was cooling system would go over 16psi. Blown head gaskets. By this time the warranty ran out by time allowed. The problem started under warranty,I complained it was not fixed right. I was put off and put off by the service adviser until the warranty ran out. Saved Ford motor company $5,000. Post stands not going round and round again as this seems to be heading AGAIN!

I wish I would have been given the opportunity to review this case for you and us. Again, I understand your frustration, hopefully you can appreciate ours. Your review does not please Hagerstown Ford or their employees, we only wish to try and come to a amicable resolution if possible. Our hands are tied unless you are willing to convey more. Feel free to contact myself at the dealership or in this venue if you want to escalate the issue, your second oil cooler may carry 12/12 service part warranty based on dates of replacement.

Jan 05, 2012 -

Hagerstown Ford responded

Dealer has attempted to look at this case thru this venue in private communications with customer to see how the documented experience came about. Customer did not want to make information available to dealer so we do not have a response to the complaint at this time.

In case this person at Hagerstown Ford has not figured it out yet,I have paid to have the truck fixed by another shop. I will not be dealing with Hagerstown Ford in any way in the future. I am in no way looking to be contacted by Hagerstown Ford. My reason for adding my review is MY experiences with their lacking training repairing diesel engines. Hagerstown Ford is showing their true colors for everyone to see. Now that anyone can see my review, and how I was treated it seems now they want to do the right thing. They want to make it right $5,000 is the cost to fix what they could not get right. TOO LATE! BEWARE PEOPLE!!!!
