GO ELSEWHERE! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND CREDIT! I'm offering one star only because it requires one to write a review, but if it were up to me, I wouldn't have included a star at all. My family is t I'm offering one star only because it requires one to write a review, but if it were up to me, I wouldn't have included a star at all. My family is transitioning from FL to AR. We planned to purchase a family vehicle before we made the move. I moved in advance of my family to begin work, so we chose a vehicle, confirmed it was still in stock, and we scheduled a test drive. I flew in from Arkansas, DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, to Orlando. We test drove the vehicle and liked it. They ran my credit. We agreed to the terms. I filled out all the required paperwork and offered my pre-approval of financing and proof of insurance. Because I had to return to work, I took a flight back to Arkansas that same day, and was told that everything would be sent to me the next day via FedEx. Well, I never received it. I didn't receive a callback either, so I reached out to my salesman, but received no response. I called again the following day and my salesman, Pedro, said that he was off for the day and couldn't help me, but advised I call the dealership. I called the dealership and learned that Jonathan in Finance, who I was working with originally, was no longer working on my deal, so they transferred me to another finance professional, whose name I can't recall but he texted me from a palm beach phone number ending in 3874. He said he would get everything over to me. He confirmed everything including my address. I heard nothing back after that. I called and texted, but received no response. I received a call the next day from Vincent Abbott who informed me that the vehicle had been sold to someone else. I was livid. He offered to reimburse me for my flights, but I told him that we needed a vehicle and were getting closer and closer to our move date. They had already run my credit, so I asked to explore other vehicles in their inventory. He welcomed me to look at other vehicles and agreed to work with me, considering the circumstances. After that call, I sent Vincent a list of vehicles that I was considering. My family arranged test drives and we chose two, however, Vincent stopped communicating with me. At this point I am beyond frustrated. I get an email from him a couple of days later saying that he had a family health emergency. Given what's going on in the world, I empathized and reset. I asked Vincent to reach out when he could, but he never did. I called Hgreg.com and spoke with Francisco Oliva. I explained everything in detail. He said that he was the correct person to speak to because he handled online, out-of-state sales. He asked me to offer him a list of vehicles. I did. Considering this is already a really long review, I'll just put it this way, Francisco used our shared military background to gain my trust, and lost it after a week because, like his colleagues before him, he was unresponsive. My last text to him was 5/22. He said he would get back to me, but hasn't. I know Hgreg.com is still selling vehicles because the inventory is ever-changing. Given the chaos and frustration, and more importantly, my need to move the family to our new home, I started looking at other dealers. My advice, BUY SOMEWHERE ELSE. IT'S NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE! More
Multi-layered customer ripoff For full disclosure, I haven't dealt with a used car salesperson since maybe 1995 so what appeared shocking to me could be what most would consider 'n For full disclosure, I haven't dealt with a used car salesperson since maybe 1995 so what appeared shocking to me could be what most would consider 'normal'. First impression: place look filthy inside and out in almost every way imaginable. Customer parking was crowded and I feared for my car's integrity because parking spaces were so narrow. Inside, it looked like a crowded bar. I had an appointment for test-driving 2 cars but, since I had test driven the exact same brand and model at another dealership I told them that all I wanted was to see/inspect them and then, possibly discuss terms of purchase. So they told us to find the cars in their parking lot - there were hundreds of cars there - vaguely suggesting one area were we were likely to find the vehicles. After 10-15 minutes of walking in a 90F heat we found one and it looked Okay but we never find the second one. Some employee told us to look elsewhere in the lot but 10 minutes later, no success. We liked the one we found enough so we decided to talk with a salesperson. Oh, the sticker price on the car was more than $4000 higher than we saw online but we had a printout of the online price so we didn't worry about that. The salesperson we were given forced us to listen through some BS talk about how special HGreg was because unlike other used car dealers, they were not negotiating prices so we were so lucky to be there. When asked about the online price vs on-car-window price discrepancy he told us that they will 'honor' the Internet price so I suspect that if you just walked in and liked the car, you'd be paying the extra $4000 if you were to buy it because price was not negotiable. To cut the BS short, I asked the used car salesman to print us a contract with real dollar figures on it so we can decide whether we were going to buy the car or not. So the contract included: - a $400 BS electronic filing fee - a $900 BS make-dealer-happy fee (sorry don't remember how they called that - a $500 made up title, tags and registration fee By comparison, Carmax fees for a similar car were $27 for electronic filing, $400 make-Carmax-happy and $402 for title and registration. Carvana's, from where we eventually bought our car were $0 for filing, $0 for making Carvana happy fee and about $300 for title and registration. I told the used car salesman that I would agree to pay those fees if he lowered the car's price by an similar amount. When he asked why he should do that and I told him that the 'fees' were absurd he told me that that was my opinion and they were not going to touch them. So we left and, as I stated above, we bought a similar car and similar price from Carvana. And 'saved' over $1500 in HGreg's bogus fees. I hope that not all used car dealers are like HGreg but then, I will probably never know because it's unlikely that I will ever again attempt to deal with such people and businesses. And I believe we only scratched the surface of potential customer ripoffs here. We were going to pay cash so no need for financing, had no trade-in and didn't care about a service plan because the vehicle we wanted to buy had some 2 years worth of manufacturer warranty left. But I can only try to imagine the many ways these people would financially abuse a customer who did need financing, did plan to trade in their old car and did want to purchase some post-sale support. Mind is boggled. P.S. - I do not remember the names of the people we interacted at HGreg Orlando so I picked one at random because it was a requirement for posting the review. More

Extreme lack of communication Attempted to purchase a car from this dealership through there out of state team. I waited days for a response back. By the time I received a response Attempted to purchase a car from this dealership through there out of state team. I waited days for a response back. By the time I received a response back with actual information (a week later) the car of course was sold. I then saw a similar model and attempting to repeat the process again (unfortunately with the same person... that one was on me since I should have asked to deal with someone else) and again the same treatment and lack of response and of course, the car was sold. I ended up contacting there customer success manager to complain about the treatment and lack of service. When he told me of the process I needed to go through if I ever saw a car I wanted again I just thought to myself 'this isn't supposed to be this hard' car dealer are supposed to want to sell cars' and I then decided to never look at this dealership again. Reading some of these reviews maybe that was for the best. Believe me, Ill definitely let people know about the service I received from this dealership. As out of state purchasing becomes more common place, treatment like this will spread a lot further than before. While I appreciate Mateo attempting to rectify the scenario I definitely cant recommend HGreg for anyone attempting to purchase an out of state vehicle. More
My experience was a joke. After hearing how honest and great they are from our sales person. We selected 3 vehicles we liked. She said great our first pick a Acadia would be around in 15 minutes. Well aft great they are from our sales person. We selected 3 vehicles we liked. She said great our first pick a Acadia would be around in 15 minutes. Well after 30 minutes another rep came and apologized the system was down. 15 minutes later our original salesrep informs us it has been sold.We said ok we will see our 2nd pick. 15 minutes later the other sales rep comes back apologize again. We informed him it was sold. His reply was it is outside and still in the system. So now we have been told 2 stories and it is now almost an hour and 30 minutes and we still haven't seen a car. We approach the desk to our original rep and she has a print out of our 2nd pick. We say we do not want to see it. She said it will only be a minute.Really over 1 1/2 hour wasted and never seen a vehicle. But I am sure they dont care about us walking out because 1 of the first thing told to us was how they sell over 900 cars a month More
I bought a car from them seven months ago. These people are crooks. They covered up the fact that the car was in an accident and they gave me a key fob for a car that isn’t even mine. Buyer beware. Then they told me to call a man who fixes key fobs. The man won’t pick up the phone. When I finally got him he told me to send a picture of the key and he never got back to me. More
