HGreg will not tell us what the damage is!!! We bought a 2016 low mileage car that HGreg installed cheap budget tires on the front not OEM Pirelli's! Yes, we missed it when we bought it. HGreg has not responded to us at all. No customer service at all. Worst dealer we have ever experienced. Buyer Beware More

Compared to Carmax it was ok After doing some research on their website, we decided to go see a couple of cars they had listed. When we got to the lot, we were able to wander aro After doing some research on their website, we decided to go see a couple of cars they had listed. When we got to the lot, we were able to wander around the cars and check them out (they were unlocked) without anyone approaching us which I thought was nice. From the 4-5 cars we wanted to see, we were able to eliminate some due to things like a smokers car or other issues. When we got it to two we wanted to see, we went inside. You have to check in to be assigned a sales rep so we did and we were introduced to our rep who introduced us to their sales process. Interestingly, the carfasx for each car we looked at on their website showed some kind of damage. The sales manager told us later that this happens when they buy cars from the auction. After determining the carfax reports weren’t deal breakers on the 2 we wanted to see, Dairo got the keys and we went back out to the cars. One car had a dead battery (It’s happens - not a deal breaker - just means a new battery before buying). A jump start got the car running but could quickly hear the power steering pump complaining. Took it for a test drive anyhow and confirmed power steering issues. One down, one left. Got into the last car and the test went well. Well enough that we decided to move forward at the price listed. Even though our trade was a common model, the sales manager didn’t know what it was when we gave them the brand and model. These aren’t car people - they are order takers. They know the buzz words to say to shoppers ("oh look, a sun roof” or" nice color" or "that’s a big trunk”) They added a $900 “service fee” to the car and a $400 registration fee (because they will go to the DMV so we don’t have to - for $400 I would go myself). They claim they are a wholesale dealer unlike CarMax and their prices are less - until you add in their mandatory fees which brings their prices equal to Carmax. So off to finance. We were financing and although came with a pre-approval letter, they wouldn’t accept it and wanted us to use their financing. We were presented with a payment option for 36, 48, 60 and 72 months. They showed us optional services which we declined - even stating that we only wanted to buy the car, no warranties, no add ons. Yet, when we received the line item break down at the agreed on monthly price, it included a 4 year warranty and GAP insurance totaling $4000 extra. So a $13,500 car became $14,600 with fees and then $18,600 with the warranty and GAP. Overall, even with the mandatory fees, the price was good but comparable to Carmax and other large used car lots. Watch for the finance department tricks and you’ll do ok. We did buy the car and after a visit to my mechanic to check it out found we have nothing to worry about and got a fair deal. The whole process took about 4 hours so not bad. Happy with our choice. I’ve purchased before at Carmax and found that experience a little better managed but I would consider H Greg again if they had the car I was looking for onsite More
