Gurnee Hyundai

They need more Genesis loaners. I scheduled the service for my genesis G70 and my loaner car was Hyundai Kona. Its either get that loaner and re-schedule my maintenance. It just doesnt make sense that they are always low in or dont have genesis loaner cars and loaners are older version. I guess I am used to with Audi services which they always offer newer version cars and always have many loaners ready to go. More

First, I have to say I am a nightmare for a company if something goes slightly wrong and it is not addressed right away. That's just my nature, I am not an easy customer. Due to some communication issue something goes slightly wrong and it is not addressed right away. That's just my nature, I am not an easy customer. Due to some communication issue coming from my side because I was trying to contact the wrong department, one problem I was facing with my newly purchased Santa Fe Limited lagged for a bit and I was becoming aggravated with it. That was until I contacted Michael Lemm. He called me right away and was scheduled the next day for someone to assess the issue. I say the next day, a Saturday, just because I was not available the same day. At arrival I had the pleasure to meet Abel who is the general sales manager. First I was skeptic and had a bad attitude. Not only that Abel and Michael stayed calm, but I have to say they adressed my issue the same day above my expectation and to a great satisfaction. There are 2 kind of people...doers and talkers and from the first words I recognized Abel as being a strong doer and gained my respect. Both of them worked as a team taking care of my concern and addressing it right away. I can only recommend this dealership. It is located 30 miles from my location and I have two local Hyundai dealerships but I choose to buy my car from their dealership because of the great price that was offered both for my vehicle and my trade-in and the exceptional finance rate and very affordable extended warranty that I also purchased. Above and beyond I recently purchased a used vehicle from Billy and Mike and the car-buying process was as enjoyable as the car-buying process can be. Despite issues with their computer systems that day, they were able to provide excellent care and I'm very pleased with my new (new to me) car. When I got home, however, I noticed that there was an issue that I had not noticed prior to leaving the dealership. I reached out to Abel and explained the situation and he took care of things immediately. They provided me with a loaner vehicle while they corrected the problem (which, technically, was not their responsibility). I received an e-mail from the dealership right after I bought the car and before I noticed the issue. It said, in part, "Our commitment to you only begins with your purchase". Abel and his service team certainly lived up to that promise. They went above and beyond and I'm tremendously satisfied with my Gurnee Hyundai experience. More
